Chapter 2551

My Substitute CEO Bride

Nash quickly opened the car door, but the front hood exploded. Fortunately, Hera, who was sitting in the back seat, was only trapped.

"Hera! Don't worry, I'll get you out of here!"

Nash used all his strength to try and lift the seat that was trapping Hera, but no matter how hard he tried, he could not move it.

"Why... Why?! Why is this happening?!"

Nash looked toward Tatiana beside him, but when he did, he saw that Tatiana had

been impaled by a man in black standing next to her.

"What's going on?! Tatiana!" Nash shouted desperately. He then fell into unconsciousness.

...

When he opened his eyes again, he found himself on a deserted island.

"This place is..."

Lana approached him from the side.

"Master..."

"This place... Yes... It's me and Lana..."

Just then, a raft suddenly appeared by the seaside.

"That's... Melody!"

Melody was paddling a small bamboo raft toward Nash and Lana when suddenly,

a fierce wind blew. In an instant, a massive wave swallowed her raft before the sea calmed again.

"Melody!" Nash screamed out once again, his voice filled with despair.

"What's going on?"

At that moment, he realized that Lana had fallen silent without him noticing.

"Lana? Lana!"

"So, what exactly do you take me for?"

Nash opened his eyes again. This time, he was in a hotel room, face-to-face with Sienna, who was accusing him furiously of unfair treatment. By now, Nash was already on the brink of breaking down.

"This... This..."

He was supposed to hold onto Sienna, but this time, he just stood where he was frozen. Sienna slammed the door and left.

"W-What's happening... I... What am I even doing?"

...

"Enter your inner world and confront the demons that bind you. Defeat them and I'll activate all the true energy within you. If you manage to conquer your inner demons, you'll unlock your full potential. This is the meditative technique passed down through our lineage on Hydra Hill.

"But be warned. Many, including Master Calcraft and Clint, as well as many of my own fellow disciples, have gone mad attempting this challenge."

Nash then began to recall his situation. "Yes, I'm inside my inner world... so nothing is real. But... what exactly are my inner demons?"

At this moment, the cycle began once again. He was about to witness the deaths

of his women once more. Even though it was all an illusion, the pain felt all too real.

...

Back in reality, Whistler and Aurora were patrolling the night with a flashlight in each hand.

"Whistler, you don't have to keep looking out for me. I appreciate your help, really... Don't worry about me."

"Aurora-"

"Thank you so much for the past few days. But honestly, I'm fine now. Truly, I'm okay."

Whistler was silent, and the two walked side-by-side awkwardly. Suddenly, Whistler sensed a familiar energy.

"Damn it!"

Whistler shoved Aurora aside but found himself trapped within a binding array.
