Chapter 2611

My Substitute CEO Bride

"What do I want?" Alistair snapped his fingers, and Theo could breathe again.

"See, here, I am the rule. So, don't try to be clever.

"Nash, I've heard of you. You're a powerful man, and I've made preparations for you."

Nash opened his Third Eye and looked through the dark. "How is this possible?" he muttered when he realized two souls were in Alistair's body.

"I don't care what you've found out. From now on, you won't remember anything. Got it?" Alistair said.

There was nothing Nash could do. He knew Alistair was capable of killing Theo the moment he attacked him. Helpless, he could only go along with him for now. "Yes."

"Good. Moving on, you'll do whatever I say. Do you understand?"

"Yes."

"Very good. Aren't there people outside who have been sitting around waiting to grab the token? Go and deal with them."

"Me?"

Alistair raised his hand, cutting off Theo's breathing once more.

Left with no other choice, Nash hurriedly answered, "I got it!"

Alistair released Theo when Nash conceded but suddenly, Theo shouted, "Nash! Don't listen to him! Strike him now! There's no way he can—"

"No, Theo! Shut up!" Nash interjected. He knew very well that Alistair was not an ordinary person. The only reason this was happening was because he underestimated him. Due to this, he could only proceed in the safest way.

Nash had seen the abilities of every sect, but judging from the power Alistair used to capture Theo, he was something else. Nash had not seen his ability before.

A normal person, and even the most powerful person he knew and had fought with, Clint, could only open large barriers one at a time.

Alistair, however, did not look like someone who was that deep into cultivation. Yet he could disrupt Nash and Theo with small barriers while maintaining the barrier at the bottom of the building.

Nash realized then that the reason his reaction was delayed earlier was due to Alistair's barrier. Otherwise, he would have definitely reacted the moment Alistair approached Theo.

This meant that Alistair was simultaneously controlling three types of barriers-the building's inherent barrier, the barrier that slowed down Nash's reactions, and the barrier that captured Theo and allowed for instant teleportation.

Nash had no choice but to temporarily compromise. Alistair's abilities were strange, and he could not afford to gamble with Theo's life. At the same time, Nash sensed a familiar aura. If he was not mistaken, it was the same as the aura from the token.

It was inside Alistair's body, which might also explain Alistair's drastic change in personality.

At that moment, Alistair spoke up, "So, Nash, what will it be?"

Nash lowered his head. "I'll help you, but you have to promise to release Theo afterward."

Alistair's mood flipped again, and he smiled kindly. "Of course, Mr. Calcraft. Don't worry, I'll keep my word."

From that point on, Nash began clearing everyone from the perimeter. He did not kill them. Instead, he knocked them out and tied them up. After everything was over, Nash would naturally let them go.

Just then, Nash received a call from Linden and the others. He also received a call from Alistair.

"Mr. Calcraft, please eliminate the traitors in any way possible."

"Traitors?"

"That's right. I'll send the list to your phone later. Also, if you encounter four men dressed as Path takers, please deal with them as well."

"Path takers? Why?"

"If I'm not mistaken, one of them who visited me earlier saved two of the traitors. So, Mr. Calcraft, please help me take care of them."
