Nash could feel something burning in his abdomen. Just when he thought it was all over, Reese swiftly punched him in the abdomen. Nash spat out a mouthful of blood.

"If you don't want to die, shut off your true energy now!" Reese shouted.

Although Nash did not fully understand what was happening, he followed the instructions. Unexpectedly, Reese activated the Skyshard Armor and punched Nash's abdomen, suppressing the Heaven-Shaking Tome.

He then punched Nash's chest, near his heart. His goal was to quickly deactivate the two weapons so that the flow of true energy within Nash's body would stop, thus neutralizing the adverse effects.

Nash would never have thought that Reese, of all people, would end up being his savior. His well-timed strikes nullified the true energy from both artifacts, allowing Nash to escape death.

Despite taking two hits, Nash felt no pain. Instead, he felt much lighter. Breathing a sigh of relief, he turned to Reese and said, "I never thought you'd actually save me."

Reese rolled his eyes dismissively.

"A priest can't just stand by and watch someone die, right? Besides, I have my own reasons for saving you. If you died, those two powerful weapons inside you would likely disappear again. That's why I saved you," Reese said.

Nash still expressed his gratitude despite Reese's words. Reese turned away, his expression stern as he replied, "It's not a big deal. Consider it a repayment for you clearing my mind after you set up that barrier."

Reese was aware of the truth. If it were not for Nash using the Bead Union Art to break the secret realm's control over him, he would have likely gone insane by

now.

Reese was not the type to owe anyone favors. Hence, when he saw Nash in trouble, even though he could not fully activate the Skyshard Armor, he still chose to trigger its nullification ability at the cost of his own life force.

Though it drained him, Reese was content with the decision. He knew that escaping this secret realm alone was impossible, so saving Nash was a win-win move in his mind. If Nash ended up obtaining the Sky Reflector Mirror, Reese figured he could fight him for it later.

The two exchanged no more words. All the demons had been wiped out thanks to the all-out attack Nash unleashed before. Now, all that was left was for them to climb to the top of the mountain. There, they would likely encounter the Sky Reflector Mirror.
