Chapter 2674

My Substitute CEO Bride

Nash returned to Hydra Hill and informed Casimir about the events that took place on Abundance Mountain.

Casimir did not say much in response. At the very least, the Light Reflector Mirror had finally resurfaced, and that was enough for him.

Nash inquired about the whereabouts of the last ritualistic weapon, but Casimir naturally did not know either. As previously mentioned, only three ritualistic weapons were clearly known.

To everyone's surprise, the Skyshard Armor and All Souls Token, which the public had believed to be lost, had made a comeback.

This was good news for these sects, as they still bore the responsibility of searching for the human emperor.

Now that five ritualistic weapons had appeared, it was merely a matter of time before the last one was found. Nash asked, "Can you tell me about the purpose or effect of the sixth ritualistic weapon?"

Casimir nodded. "Of course. The sixth ritualistic weapon, the Heaven-Destroyer Magma, is said to be a ritualistic weapon, but that's not entirely accurate."

Nash felt a bit confused. "What does that mean?"

Casimir explained, "The Heaven-Destroyer Magma represents the pinnacle of forging, but isn't it also the one that forges ritualistic weapons?

"Just as its name suggests, it can grant unparalleled strength to various ritualistic weapons. It's said that the Heaven-Destroyer Magma was divided into six parts by the human emperor, giving rise to the Six Ritualistic Weapons."

"The Heaven-Destroyer Magma... Is it akin to the core of the ritualistic weapons?" Nash asked.

Casimir nodded. "Exactly. Essentially, the Heaven-Destroyer Magma is not a physical entity but a form of power that can enhance any ritualistic weapon, including the other Six Ritualistic Weapons. You must have noticed this too." Casimir added mysteriously, "The reason why the Six Ritualistic Weapons can be controlled by humans is that each ritualistic weapon holds one another in check." Nash nodded, recalling previous situations. "The Heaven-Shaking Tome can neutralize the true energy of other ritualistic weapons, achieving a blending effect. The Chaos Talisman can extract the powers and abilities from ritualistic weapons. The Skyshard Armor can render all ritualistic weapons ineffective for a short time. I'm still unclear about the special powers of the All Souls Token, as well as those of the Light Reflector Mirror."

Casimir then remarked, "Don't you think these resemble steps?"

Nash nodded, understanding Casimir's point. If the Six Ritualistic Weapons could be properly ordered, it would likely yield immense power, potentially leading to the emergence of a human emperor.

Casimir refrained from elaborating further as he only knew so much, and many details had faded over centuries. However, they needed to attempt this.

Time was running short, and when the gods awakened and began to battle, what would happen without the leadership of a human emperor? No one knew the answer to that.

Casimir took a sip of tea, realizing he could no longer assist Nash. After offering a salute, Nash left the mountain gate.

He considered in his mind that he had interacted with many sects, many of which possessed forging capabilities. However, none of their secrets were truly concealed. Many abilities were publicly known.

Due to the strictness required in forging ritualistic weapons, many descendants merely followed the teachings of their predecessors.

He had not heard much about particularly mysterious or powerful ritualistic

weapons suddenly emerging. This left Nash feeling troubled.

Setting aside whether or not he was a human emperor, the situation was that five ritualistic weapons were now scattered among four individuals. If a human emperor truly needed to be chosen, what would that entail? The thought made his head spin.

Resolving to leave the mountain, he arrived at the foot, where Mireille had been waiting for some time.

"Great-Grandmaster Nash, this way."

Nash descended and replied, "Didn't I say you could just call me Nash?"

In a dark and shadowy warehouse, a young boy continuously fiddled with a wooden puppet.
