Once Rejected My Alpha Stepbrother Wants Me Back Chapter 44
Once Rejected My Alpha Stepbrother Wants Me Back
Chapter 44
Ashtonâs POV.
The moment I walked out of my office with my patientâs
family in tow, i paused when some fresh lavender scent pummeled my nose. I knew quickly who they belonged to.
Though my nostrils were used to that lovely scent, my eyes didnât prepare me for the sight I was about to see.
My curious eyes raked the faces in the long hallway of the hospital until they fell on Josieâs.
I looked at her face briefly until my eyes burned a track down to her chest. There I found the mounds of her breasts, creamy, full, portable enough to
fall into my palms.
âDamn, I wanna taste those againâ my lycan said, standing up immediately as the sight of Josieâs breasts stimulated him again.
âPervert!â I called out accusingly, still watching those generous rounds of balls pinned on Josieâs chest.
âWell, I am not the only lycan here, youâre as well. If you ainât why is your pants becoming tight around you?â
I hollered in my head for him to stop, âcause the more he said that the hornier I get. Too bad, Josie canât handle this boner.
Still, my eyes are perched there, loving as it shone beautifully in my view. Seeing the cloth clutch her breasts, made me want to reach out and tear it off of her like I did that night.
! That night we sealed our bond. With the highness I felt and the tent in my pants twitching as if being pulled by an electric, I tugged Josie into Daneâs room that night, seized her mouth with mine, and kissed her like a maniac__ maniac thoughts about her made me become and I tore her clothes, caressing her tits, just like I always imagined Iâd do, before I trailed down and fastened. my lips over her tits.
ââ¦Doc which way? Is something wrong?â The woman beside me questioned noticing the pause in my movements.
I riveted back from my reverie, staring and blinking, taking in my environment.
I had forgotten about the people I came out of my office with.
It was only then that I figured Dr. Sander cornered Josie.
âWhat is she saying to her?â I hummed under my breath, as I took in the scene.
Josie had taken her eyes off of me, staring at the petite woman cornering her.
I saw her mouth move, responding some words to Sanders. The moment Sanders bristled into two feet, raising her hand to react. I moved forward.
âDr. Sanders?â I called, my gait firm as I approached them. The woman halted and brought her hand back down to her side
âOh, doc. I didnât know you were here.â She said, blushing intricately.
âI hope thereâs no problem going on between you and Ms. Rose?â I asked, watching Josie through the corner of my

eyes as she buttoned her dress.
That made me frown, I want those buttons open. It was at the tip of my
at the tip of my mouth to ask Josie to open them butâ¦
âNo..not at all.â Dr. Sanders denied frantically, and I scoffed.
âGood. Please, I urge you to treat Ms. Rose with adequate respect. Just as you have for me, am I clear?â I asked, pinning my gaze on her.
âYes, alpha.â She hummed.
Satisfied, veered a little and gestured for my clients to follow me to the second floor,
Josie looked expectantly at me and I mouthed. âIâll be right back.â
**Josieâs POV.***
I thought when Ashton said heâd be right back, it meant heâd be away for about ten minutes but that was not the
case.
I had been here for five hours and the man hadnât shown up. Why?
Anyway, he was the one wasting his time. Our agreement was ninety days and we have stayed thirtyâseven, save for the days he traveled to India.
I couldnât help remembering how he butted in this morning, admonishing that slutty doctor and ordering her to
respect me.
That made me feel funny inside but I did my best to wipe it away from my face.
I wouldnât let Ashton know what Iâve been thinking about him. Not in that naughty way at least.
I sat in the waiting room, flipping through the pages of newspapers when I felt a figure standing before me.
âHuh, you again?â I groused, hating the crazy look the woman was giving me.
Is she that crazy about Ashton? I thought but who the was I kidding?
Ashtonâs always been the one grabbing womenâs attention effortlessly. So, Dr. Sanders was no different.
âYou should be happy Iâm being respectful now, bitch.â She remarked.
I gave her a faux smile, saying. âFor someone in your field, there are some words you ainât meant to say.â
âWhatever. Follow me.â She turned away after that but I dug my heels on the floor, watching her retreating back.
So contemptuous! I growled, picking up the papers and aiming to focus my attention on it.
It wasnât long and I heard her storiping feet on the floor as she approached me.
Chapter 44
âI said, follow me.â Her words held a hint of command and I dropped a mock laugh.
âIf thatâs your definition of respect, then I suggest you try again.â
She reeled my words, anger palpable on her face. I so want to teach her not to mess with me at all.
And thatâs what I did. I ignored her fuming ass, brought out my phone that was ringing, and saw Tessaâs name flashing on the screen.
âGirl! Itâs taco night, remember?â She said and I chuckled.
âOf course, how I can miss it?â I retort with a laugh.
âGood, so we promise to keep kids outta it tonight,â Tessa said again.
âHuh, why?â
âGirl, women get some women things to do. No kids allowed.â
That meant I was either going to leave Aria with Ms. Beth or with Diego.
âFine. I agree.â
Tessa giggled sheepishly as we hung up. I took that breathing moment to capture the sight of the young janitor with untamed blonde hair approaching me.
âMs. Rose, doc requested your presence.â
âSee, thatâs why I came calling you!â Doctor Sanders practically yelled. I paid her no mind as I gaited down the hall, in tow with the janitor.
I wonder where heâs taking me.
âPlease, where is it we are going?â I cut through the silence harassing us but the young man only shook his shoulder.
âIâm sorry, Ms. Rose.â He managed a smile. Then. âI was specifically ordered not to let a word slip.â
Wow! Really? What in hellâs name is going on? I thought to myself, pattering my heels on the floor.
Certainly, this isnât the part that leads to Ashtonâs office. There were rows of doors on both sides of the white hallway. Each door had a tag on it
That was when I saw one with Dr. Sanders written on it.
That built my curiosity to a roaring height. I managed to keep my mouth shut but I couldnât and then. âCould you at least give me a hint of where weâre going. I promise not to talk after this.â
誼
The janitor shook his head again. âI canât go against
an alphaâs order. Unless you want me to be beheaded.â
âWhat? Heâll behead you just because you whispered something to me?â I bashed at his back, asking.
Chapter 44
âYes, Ms. Rose. Weâre meant to abide by orders and avoid punishments like that. Besides Iâm ordered not to step inch close to you. So I canât even whisper anything out.â
Jeez, his words made my brows jam together like butter and bread. Was that the order Ashton gave him?
Now I understood why the janitor was walking a step ahead.
Cussing under my breath, I surged forward, wanting to fall into steps beside him but he fled.
âIâm sorry, Ms. Rose. Please forgive me if Iâve ever wronged you but I want to keep being alive. For my family at least?â
My shoulders sagged immediately after he said those words. Iâll have to deal with Ashton later.
Pouting my lips, I told him to continue.
In record time, the janitor stopped at the end of the long hallway.
Instantly, my eyes widened and my jaw slacked.
What is this? I thought as my eyes danced around the entire place.
TBC.
