Chapter 16

Obscure Motives

Terry And Grayson

Chapter Sixteen: Drop dead BITCH!

Grayson's POV

As I watch Terry make me breakfast, well just putting cereal in a bowl, I feel like the luckiest man alive. People search throughout their entire lives to find someone who makes them feel the way Terry makes me feel. I have been staying with him for a week and I feel like it's been years already. It feels like there was never a moment in both of our lives that we weren't together. From his luscious curls, to his soft pink lips and that magnificent body of his, I think it's safe to say that he's the one.

"Grayson!!" I hear Terry screaming at me while waving a hand in my face.

"What?" I ask casually.

"Babe, I've been trying to get your attention for the last five minutes. Where were you?" He asks pushing the bowl of Cereal over to me.

"Right here. And I'm not going anywhere." My answer causes him to raise his eyebrows in confusion; he shrugs it off and goes back to making his breakfast. "What is this?" I ask looking at the little squared orange cereal.

"Captain Crunch." He says taking some even though it has milk already.

"Okay... Why I'm I having it for breakfast?" I ask trying not to sound... What's the word... Stuck up.

"Because my spring break is over and I don't have time to make you a five start breakfast anymore." He says pouring some cereal in his bowl, and not breaking eye contact with me. "Try it, you might like it."

"But you go back to school tomorrow? Why punish me today?" I say pouting.

"Practice makes perfect." He says while laughing at me. Terry sits besides me and starts eating his breakfast. My first bite of this Captain Crunch, was actually not bad. This cereal is actually really good.

"So what are we going to do on your last day of spring break?" I ask taking a breather from munching.

"I don't know. We can just stay in." Terry answers me.

"And do what?" I ask since the last week involved us actually going places. I didn't know there are so many little places here in LA that one can appreciate its beauty.

"Netflix?" Terry asks.

"You actually have Netflix?" I ask in shock. I can't believe people actually subscribe to that pointless garbage.

"Yeah. People do subscribe to that pointless garbage." Terry says making me shocked. "Yes, you said that out loud."

"I'm sorry, but I don't get it." I say frankly.

" Grayson, the thing about you is that you have been in this world of nonstop working, so you don't know fun." He explained as he continues eating Captain Crunch.

"We went out this entire week and I had fun. Why can't we just go out again?" I ask.

"Because sometimes you just need Netflix and Chill." He says while covering his mouth like he said something bad.

"I guess we can do that. But I still don't get what the big deal is."

"Yeah.. No big deal." He says hesitantly.

"What do you watch on Netflix?" I ask out of curiosity.

"Mostly shows. Most of the movies are horrible." Terry says drinking the milk now that he's done with his cereal.

"I can't wait." I say not actually meaning it. Don't get me wrong, I love spending time with Terry, but to me I just think as a grown man Netflix is a waste of time. After we finish our breakfast, we change out of our pajamas and out on some simple clothes. Terry wearing grey sweatpants and a reddish shirt, and me in shorts and a sweatshirt. As we lay down in his couch, he turns on the TV and goes to Netflix.

"Look, even my remote came with a Netflix button." Terry says pointing at the button.

"Wow, good job Samsung." I say rolling my eyes. "So what are we watching?"

"Sense 8. My favorite show on here. I've already binge watched the entire season like 7 times, so why not?" He says rubbing his hands together in anticipation.

"Okay." I try to sound excited for him.

After 3 hour of nothing but this show, I can officially say that for the third time in my life, I'm in love. The show is so original and beautifully created, I have to watch more. From the characters of the show to the concept, this is an amazing show.

"You want something to eat?" Terry asks snapping me out of my thoughts.

"What? Sure... Whatever." I answer not taking my eyes off the screen.

"Told you you'd love it." Terry says giving me a peck on the lips and going to the kitchen. Currently, the character Sun is about to kick some ass in the ring. My eyes stay glued to the TV that I don't notice that Terry is back with some food. "Maybe we should take a break."

"Why?"

"Because it is 1:00pm and we haven't done anything at all."

"I thought that's what you wanted?"

"Nope." He says popping the p.

"But why..... No!!" I scream when Terry turns off the TV. I turn my head to him and give him the nasty stare. He smiles and hides the remote behind his back. "Are you ticklish?" I ask.

"No." He says trying to act as normal as he can.

"Okay then." I start tickling him and I swear Terry is the most ticklish person I have ever met. As his laughter becomes more 'I can't breathe' kind of laughter I stop immediately.

"That was mean." Terry says wiping tears from his eyes.

"I'm sorry." I say going in for a kiss. I connect my lips with his and automatically we both start moving in sync. For that fraction of time, it was just me and Terry; the two human beings who are completely in-love with each other. As Terry brings his arms around my neck, I pull him closer to me so that he's under me, where he belongs. Before anything got too heated, a knock comes through the front door interrupting us.

"If that is Danny, I'm going to shoot him in his face." I say rubbing the back of my neck in agony.

"He agreed to stay with Jim this entire week to give us some privacy, I think we own him." Terry says getting up from the couch. When he open the door, it reveals someone who I had wish was Danny, but it wasn't.

"Sharon?" I say getting up from the couch. She pushes Terry out of the way and makes her way inside.

"You have got to kidding me?" She says while her eyes roam the place. "Is this worth it?"

"You need to leave. Now!" I raise my voice at her.

"Don't talk to me like that. Guys, get him." I watch as these huge muscled guys come and grab me against my will.

"What the hell is this? Sharon? What did I ever do to you?" I scream as I try to pry myself away from the assholes.

"Please let him go! What the fuck is wrong with you?" Terry screams as tears start falling on his beautiful face.

"Let me go!" I try my best but the meatheads are too strong.

"Over my dead body will I let my son be involved with this pathetic human being who doesn't have a dime to his name." She says crossing her arms.

"What kind of mother are you?" Terry says launching himself at me and tries to get the assholes to let me go. Before I know it, Terry is shoved and pushed to the ground. He hits the edge of the couch on his head causing him to go unconscious. Blood start pouring from his head and it causes all of us to freeze.

"Ma'am? What should we do?" One of the assholes says. At this point I take the opportunity to get loose and go after my baby. I check if he's still breathing and thank God he is.

"Call the ambulance, Now!" I scream at them. Sharon snaps her fingers and the assholes come and grab me again. "Sharon please... He needs to go to the hospital. Please." I cry in plea. She turns to me with dark eyes of anger.

"As a mother I know what's best for you." Sharon starts speaking.

"What the hell Sharon? We can have this talk later, please call an ambulance!" I scream on top of my voice.

"Do as I say, or we'll leave your little friend here." She says sitting down in the couch.

"What?"

"We can leave right now and let the circle of life take care of this thing here." She says pointing at Terry. As I watch blood flow from his head, I know something worse is coming. With Sharon in the picture, Terry is going to face things worse that this.

"I'll do whatever you want as long as he get better." I say regretting the words immediately.

"I'll call the ambulance and that's it." She says smiling.

"He doesn't have Health Insurance. You have to pay his bills."

"Then you'll do as I say?" She stands and comes face to face with me.

"Promise."

"Pathetic. Can't even afford his health. You know how to pick them Gray." She says with sarcasm dripping from her mouth.

Drop dead BITCH!

Sharon calls 911 and we get out of the apartment. We stay in the car until the ambulance shows up and then we drive off. Of course she lied and said she was a neighbor who heard commotion in the next door apartment and went there and saw him on the floor. How can somebody be so cruel? She was willing to leave Terry there just because refused to do what she wanted? What does it matter anyway, she doesn't give a shit about me.

Forget it. My main goal is to protect Terry from Sharon.

And sadly, I know what I have to do.
