Chapter 189
After the Divorce: Crushed on My Lawyer Ex-wife
#189 âIs That A âYesâ?â
As she galloped through the fields, Sophia felt a rush of exhilaration wash over her, her heart pounding with excitement as she chased after Alexander. As she finally caught up to him, a sense of pride swelled within her chest, knowing that she was just as capable as he was when it came to riding horses.
As Sophia watched Alexander effortlessly guide his horse, a surge of emotions swept over her. She couldnât deny the rush of admiration that pulsed through her veins as she witnessed his skillful control over the majestic animal. Despite her initial disbelief, she couldnât help but feel an undeniable attraction towards him.
She couldnât deny that she had always found Alexander extremely sexy, but watching him now made her throat go dry. She was dying for this man who never stopped surprising her. Heâs everything sheâs ever wanted.
She motioned for him to follow her, her movements fluid and confident. With a playful grin, she led them towards a nearby pond, the cool, still water reflecting the golden hues of the setting sun.
As they reached the waterâs edge, Sophia dismounted her horse and gestured for Alexander to do the same. She watched with a mixture of awe and fascination as he gracefully dismounted, his movements fluid and confident.
With a smile, Sophia turned to Alexander, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. âSo, when did you learn to ride like that?â she asked, her voice tinged with admiration.
Alexander chuckled a hint of sheepishness in his smile. âBelieve it or not, I used to spend summers on my uncleâs farm when I was a kid,â he confessed. âHe taught me everything I know about riding horses.â
Sophiaâs eyes widened in surprise, her admiration for him growing with each passing moment. âWell, you certainly picked up some impressive skills,â she remarked, her voice filled with genuine admiration.
As they sat by the pond, watching the sun dip below the horizon, Sophia couldnât shake the feeling of warmth that spread through her chest. With a soft smile, she turned to Alexander, her eyes twinkling with affection.
âYou know,â she began, her voice warm and tender, âthereâs something incredibly sexy about watching you ride.â
Alexander grinned, his eyes sparkling with amusement. âOh yeah?â he replied, his voice teasing. âI guess Iâll have to ride more often then.â
Sophia laughed, the sound melodic and light. âI wouldnât complain about that, â she said playfully, her gaze lingering on him.
Their eyes met, the air between them thick with desire as they leaned closer, the heat of their bodies mingling in the cool air.
âYou have no idea how much you turn me on,â Alexander murmured, his voice low and husky.
Sophiaâs breath caught in her throat as she felt a surge of heat flood through her veins. âOh, I think I have a pretty good idea,â she replied, her voice dripping with seduction.
With a playful glint in his eye, Alexander leaned in closer, his lips brushing against hers in a tantalizing kiss. âCare to show me just how much? â he whispered, his voice filled with promise.
Sophiaâs heart raced as she felt a rush of desire wash over her. âI thought youâd never ask,â she breathed, her voice heavy with anticipation.
Their lips met in a passionate embrace, their bodies moving together in perfect harmony as they lost themselves in the intoxicating heat of their desire. At that moment, nothing else mattered but the electric connection they shared, a connection that left them both breathless and hungry for more.
As their kiss deepened, the world around them seemed to fade into the background, leaving only the pulsing rhythm of their desire. With each touch and caress, they explored the depths of their passion, igniting a fire that burned brighter with every passing moment.
With a soft moan, Sophia pressed herself closer to Alexander, her hands tangling in his hair as she deepened the kiss. His touch sent shivers down her spine, igniting a hunger that consumed her from within.
Alexanderâs hands roamed over her body, tracing every curve and contour with a tenderness that stole her breath away. With each touch, he stoked the flames of desire that raged between them, leaving her yearning for more.
As they finally pulled apart, their chests heaving with exertion, Sophia couldnât help but smile as she gazed into Alexanderâs eyes.
âIâve been meaning to ask you something for a while,â Alexander began, his voice tinged with nervousness.
Sophiaâs curiosity piqued her attention fully on Alexander. âWhat is it?â she asked, leaning in closer.
âWell, I was thinking about us and aboutâ¦â Alexanderâs words trailed off as Sophiaâs phone rang, interrupting their conversation.
Sophia quickly fished her phone out of her pocket, her heart sinking as she saw Benjaminâs name on the caller ID. She answered the call, her brows furrowing with concern as she listened to Benjaminâs shaky voice on the other end.
âBen, whatâs wrong?â she asked, her voice filled with worry.
Benjaminâs voice was weak and strained as he replied, âSophia, Iâm not feeling well. I think I need you to come home.â
Hearing this, Sophia looked at Alexander. She was sure he would be angry. âIâll be right there,â she assured Benjamin before ending the call.
Turning to Alexander, Sophiaâs expression was filled with apology. Iâm so sorry, Alex,â she said, her voice laced with regret. âWe need to go home. Ben needs me.â 11 âOf course,â replied Alexander, his annoyance evident in his tone. âLetâs see what the big baby needs this time.â
Sophia felt guilty for Alexanderâs frustration and reached out to take his hand. âI promise Iâll talk to him.
This has to stop,â she said earnestly.
Alexanderâs expression softened at her touch and her words. He nodded in understanding, a small smile playing at the corners of his lips.
As they rode back home in silence, Sophia could sense Alexanderâs tension. She knew he wanted to discuss something important, but she didnât want to push him.
âYou wanted to ask me something,â she finally broke the silence, turning to look at him.
Alexander hesitated for a moment, then shook his head. âLeave it, another time,â he said, his voice tinged with uncertainty.
Sophia frowned, sensing his reluctance. âI do want to know,â she insisted gently, squeezing his hand reassuringly.
Alexander lets out a sigh, his grip on the steering wheel tightening. âI want to live together,â he blurted out suddenly, his words rushed and nervous.
Sophiaâs heart skipped a beat at his confession, a smile spreading across her face at his vulnerability.
âI thought youâd never ask,â she teased lightly, her eyes sparkling with joy.
âIs that a âYesâ?â Alexander asked, a hint of worry in his voice.
Sophiaâs smile widened as she nodded. âYes,â she replied. âI want to live together. Just say which apartment you prefer and weâll do it.â
