Chapter 1050
The Day I Kissed An Older Man
Francine stuck out her tongue and pretended to vomit. She hated nothing more than a girl who acted
like she was innocent.
Annie took a deep breath and squeezed out a smile. âOkay, Mister Aaron. If thatâs the case, Iâll book a
room in Hillmond Hotel for you.â
âThanks for helping, Miss Annie,â said Aaron with a smile.
âYouâre welcome.â
After that, Annie went out to make a call to Hillmond Hotel since she was too lazy to download an app
just to book a hotel room. It was just as well as she needed a bit of fresh air or she would lose her
mind.
After Annie went out, Corinne picked up the knife Xante left and threw it at Aaron.
Aaron did not try to dodge the incoming knife. Fortunately, the knife only brushed past his ear before it
embedded itself into the wall.
His girlfriend jumped up in fright, as did Francine.
âI never knew she knew how to throw a knife!â she thought in wide-eyed shock.
Aaron hugged her girlfriend and said smilingly to Corinne, âBoss, what was that for? Youâre only going
to make yourself sad if I was hit by the knife.â
Corinne frowned. She had enough of him. âGet lost! I donât want to see your face anymore!âBooks

Aaron shrugged. He got up with his girlfriend and bowed to Corinne. âFine, weâll be leaving now. Iâll
leave Xante with you.â Then, he muttered to himself, âI wonder if Miss Annie managed to book us a
hotel roomâ¦â
After Aaron led her fragile-looking girlfriend out of the room, Francine turned to look at Corinne with a
frown. âAhem! Um⦠Corinne, has your temper always been this explosive? Do you throw knives at
people whenever youâre upset?â
Corinne gave her a side-eye. âWhat? Is this your first day of knowing me?â
Francine sported a lopsided smile, but her trembling voice betrayed her. âOâOf course not. I⦠I still
remember what you did on the first day we met each other.â
On the first day they met each other, Corinne dunked Francineâs head into the toilet bowl.
âOf course, it was âcause I bullied her into it. But throwing a knife at someone? Thatâs really going
overboardâ¦â thought Francine.
âThen need you ask?â said Corinne lightly.
âYouâre not going to do the same thing to my brother in the future, right?â asked Francine anxiously.
Corinne was a little taken aback. She looked up at Francine with an inscrutable expression. After a
brief silence, she said, âDonât tell me you seriously think I can win in a fight against your brother.â
After thinking it over, Francine said, âYouâre right. You canât win in a fight against Jeremy. But heâs the
type thatâll never hit a woman, so what if you use that to your advantage?â
