Chapter 1076
The Day I Kissed An Older Man
Corinne gazed at Jason for a while before giving him a superficial smile. âI couldnât agree more. Itâs so
much of a coincidence that I canât help but think this was planned.â
Jason put his cheek on his hand and looked at Corinne flirtatiously. âYouâre overthinking this. I really
didnât know you were going to be here.â
âIs that so?â uttered Corinne curtly. She was not interested in what he was doing there, so she did not
continue the conversation any further. Instead, she picked up her cup to drink the free coffee provided
by the homestay.
However, Jason snatched the cup before it even got close to her lips.
Stunned, Corinne looked up at Jason unhappily. âWhat did you do that for?â
Jason took a sip from the cup of coffee he took from Corinne. âYouâre pregnant. You shouldnât drink any
coffee.â
Corinne frowned. âItâs perfectly fine to have just a little!â
Jason shook his head. âNope, you canât even have a little. Drink some water if youâre thirsty. Best to
avoid tea and coffee if you can help it.â
Corinne was speechless. âThis jerk is as meddlesome as ever!â However, her annoyance quickly
morphed into sadness. âJeremy should be the one reminding me not to drink anything with caffeine, yet
heâs not hereâ¦â
At that moment, the waiter placed two local dishes on the table.
Corinne snapped out of her trance and picked up her utensils.
âMay I join you?â asked Jason politely.Books Chapters Are Daily Updated Join & Stay Updated For All

Corinne rolled her eyes at him. âIf I say no, will you go away?â
Jason smiled and shook his head. âNope.â
Corinne scoffed. âThen you might as well donât ask.â
To this, Jason simply picked up his fork to take a bite out of each dish.
Tommy came out from the kitchen after all the food had been served.
âMister Jason, what are you doing here?â he asked with surprise when he saw him sitting across from
Corinne.
âIâm here on holiday,â replied Jason with a smile.
âYou came here to have a holiday?â repeated Tommy with disbelief.
Jason nodded. âI got bored of all the usual places, so I thought Iâd come to experience what the locals
have to offer. This holiday is a reward I gave myself for working really hard to the point of getting a
burnout for the past few months. Corinne and I were just talking about what a coincidence for us to
meet each other here.â
Tommy nodded suspiciously. âI see. It does sound much like a coincidence.â
âBy the way, I heard Jeremy is out of the country?â he asked nonchalantly while picking up the food
from the plates.
âYes. Heâs currently taking care of business abroad,â replied Tommy.
Jason smiled. âI see. I was wondering why Corinne is here alone.â
Tommy was speechless. âWhy does it sound like heâs blaming Mister Jeremy for not being here with
Maâam?â
