Chapter 1091
The Day I Kissed An Older Man
Jeremy stroked Corinneâs head lovingly. âGood girl. You did the right thing.â
Corinne was not used to him treating her like this since they had not seen each other for many days.
Corinne frowned and looked straight into his eyes. âMister, when did you get back? Why did you come
here?â
Jeremy rested his chin on her forehead and huskily spoke, âI took the flight back home last night. And
why did I come here, you ask? Well, I wouldnât need to if you had just listened to me and stayed home
instead of coming here. I canât help but think youâre doing this to avoid seeing me.â
His warm breath tickled her face as he spoke, causing her to blush. âSo is this your way of giving me a
surprise?â she asked a little unhappily.
âI guess you can say that,â said Jeremy.
Corinne frowned. âI appreciate your thought, but Iâve told you that I donât like surprises! Next time,
please let me know in advance when youâre coming back.â
It was true. Corinne did not like surprises, having to guess, or the unknown. What she preferred was
having her ducks in the row.
Jeremy pulled her into a hug and buried his face into her neck to breathe in her scent. He had sorely
missed her scent while he was on his business trip.
âOkay, I promise you Iâll do that next time.â
Finding it hard to breathe as she was being squeezed tightly, Corinne started struggling. However, she
gave up after a while as Jeremy seemed to hug her even tighter the more she struggled.
âMister, I have another question!â she said with a pout.
Jeremy rubbed his stubbled chin on her shoulder. âAsk away.âBooks Chapters Are Daily Updated Join

âWhere are my clothes? I remember wearing them to sleep last night! How come Iâm naked when I
wake up?â she said crabbily.
Jeremy traced Corinneâs spine with his finger, as though he wanted to commit every dip and rise of her
skin into his memory, while teasing her into submission.
âI wanted to hug you so badly since itâs been so long since we saw each other. But your clothes were
getting in the way,â he whispered seductively into her ear.
Corinne felt a minor electric current jolting through her body whenever Jeremy touched her, causing her
to get goosebumps. On one hand, she thoroughly enjoyed the feeling, but on the other, she was still
angry at him.
âSo you took off my clothes without first asking me?â she asked, frowning.
Jeremy chuckled softly. âAs your husband, I have every right to take off your clothes whenever and
wherever I want. Or would you have preferred I wake you up the next time so you can take them off
yourself?â
Corinne frowned. âAre you sure you did nothing more than hug me last night?â
Jeremy did not answer her question, but his silence said it all.
âIt was pointless to ask him that question. Knowing him, he would of course take advantage of me while
Iâm sleeping,â thought Corinne. This just made her even angrier.
âWell, you had me for the whole night, so you can let me go now,â said Corinne.
âNo. I havenât had enough of you yet,â said Jeremy, hugging her tighter.
Corinne was starting to get annoyed. âIâm starving. I want to go wash up and eat my breakfast now!â
âI only arrived at the airport at two in the morning, and it took me another hour to get here, so I didnât
really get to sleep much. Be a good girl and lie here with me for just a while more, and Iâll bring you out
to eat later, okay?â
For a moment, Corinne was very tempted to do as he said. However, she remembered the woman on
the phone, and her anger flared up again.
âNo! Iâm not tired anymore; sleeping anymore will just give me a headache. You can sleep all you want
if youâre tired, but Iâm getting up!â
She tried to break free from Jeremyâs embrace, butâ¦
