Chapter 1125
The Day I Kissed An Older Man
Xante raised her eyebrow and glanced at him. âWhy are you still here? Do you need money? Is that it?â
Sunny suddenly felt like Xante did care about him after all. Otherwise, she would not have offered him
money.
âNo. I have enough money. But you should have lunch with me.â
Xante frowned. âSorry, but thereâs no âshouldâ or âshould notâ in my world. Only a kid will use the word
âshouldâ to get others to do what they want.â
âI told you a million times, Iâm not a kid!â
âDid I say you were?â Xante asked with a scoff.
Sunny crossed his arms and sat back down on the sofa angrily. âUgh! How dare she treat me like that?â
he thought. As a matter of fact, Xante was the first woman to ever treat him like he was nothing.
Xante pushed up her gold-rimmed glasses and continued to focus on her task at hand. After finishing
the paperwork, she was about to call for her secretary to take the documents away when she saw
Sunny had fallen asleep on the sofa.
âShould I call for the security to carry him out? But heâs the bossâ stepbrother, and she seems to have a
soft spot for him⦠She might get angry at me if something happens to him,â she thought while
massaging her temples. The whole thing was giving her a headache.Books Chapters Are Daily

In the end, she walked over with a blanket she kept for overnights at the office and laid it on him.
All of a sudden, Sunny snapped his eyes open. âI knew it! You do care about me!â
Xante was speechless. She had made sure to be as quiet as possible to not wake him up, but it was all
in vain. Annoyed, she pulled the blanket over his face and walked out of the office.
Sunny threw off the blanket and got up to chase after her. Xante was giving instructions to her
secretary at the doorway, and the secretary looked at Sunny curiously when he came out of Xanteâs
office.
This annoyed Xante to no end, so she walked off after she finished giving instructions. Unfortunately,
Sunny still followed her.
Xante suddenly stopped walking and asked irritably, âWhy are you following me?â
âI donât know⦠I just know I want to be by your side.â
Xanteâs lips twitched. âEven a husband and wife need to give each other space. Mister Sunny, I hope
youâll stop following me,â she said mockingly.
Sunny started blushing madly. âDid⦠Did you just call us husband and wife? Umm⦠Okay, Iâll let my
family know, and then Iâll bring you home to meet them. But I have to warn you, theyâll probably only let
me get married after I graduate from university. Lucas, especially, wants me to focus on my study. But if
youâre in a hurry, we can go register our marriage first. I, Sunny Rivera, promise you Iâll take care of you
and stay loyal to you forever.â
âEnough!â The more Xante listened to him, the more annoyed she felt. âDoes he think weâre living in the
old times? Thereâs no law saying a man must marry a woman after he sleeps with her! Ugh. Heâs so
foolish to the point that itâs laughable.â
She never thought about marrying him nor did she want him to take responsibility for her.
âMister Sunny, you seem to have mistaken me. Iâm asking you to stop following me and leave me
alone. If you have so much free time on your hands, you should study or do something else. Do you
understand me now?â
Sunny scoffed. âThe schoolâs having a winter break, and Iâve already finished all of my homework. I
have all the time in the world to hang out with you.â
