Chapter 1144
The Day I Kissed An Older Man
Annie stepped back almost instinctively. âWhat are you doing?â
Aaron held them tightly and said, âI didnât use any of the ones you bought for me the other day.â
Annie was speechless. âAnd? What is he trying to tell me? Is he saying he didnât use them because he
did it raw with his girlfriend the other day? Is he trying to say he doesnât mind having a baby with her?
Is he warning me to stop having feelings for him?â
She felt a little embarrassed. âOkay, okay. I get it. I wonât bother you again in the future. You donât have
to do this to me.â
Aaron did not know how to react after concluding she had misunderstood. âWhat Iâm trying to say is, I
canât bring myself to use what you bought for me, so I didnât do anything with that woman.â
âWhat do you mean by that? Youâre acting super weird today! I canât even understand what youâre
talking about!â Annie thought to herself. She then asked, âUmm⦠What are you even talking about?â
Aaron smiled and leaned over to her ear. He then whispered to her, âSince youâre the one who bought
them, Iâve decided to save them and use them with you in the future!â
Annieâs face turned red in an instant. Her lips twitched too, and she felt incredibly offended. She raised
her hand and slapped him twice. Then, she opened the bathroom door and left.
Aaron walked out of the bathroom with two very clear slap marks on his face.
Corinne and Xante stood at the door and looked at him with disgust.
Xante chided smugly, âServes you right!âBooks Chapters Are Daily Updated Join & Stay Updated For

Aaron shrugged. âI donât mind this at all!â
Corinne rubbed her temples and said, âCome upstairs with me.â
Aaron and Xante followed her to her bedroom.
Someone brought food to their room, perhaps as a gesture of apology from Pamela who felt that
Francine had crossed the line.
Joey was already fast asleep by then.
After Corinne placed him down on the bed and covered him with the blanket, she walked to the door
and opened it slightly to peek outside. Once she confirmed no people were in the vicinity, she closed
the door and sat on the sofa. She then said to Aaron and Xante, âIn two days, Iâll ask Grandma Pamela
to bring me out of the house so I can clear my mind. Iâll let you know when and where. There will be a
lot of bodyguards following us at that time, so you two will have to find a way to lure them away. Thatâll
be my chance to escape.â
Aaron and Xante looked solemnly at each other before nodding to Corinne.
Xante said, âOkay. Donât worry. Weâll arrange everything and synchronize with you.â
âWhere do you plan on escaping to?â Aaron asked. âShould I book the flight in advance?â
Corinne said curtly, âYour sole responsibility is to distract those bodyguards. Donât bother about
anything else. Where I head to after that isnât important.â
Aaron frowned and asked unhappily, âWhat do you mean by that? Youâre not going to tell us anything?â
Corinne glanced at him. âThatâs not it. I havenât even decided where to go yet. I canât leave the country
through the two of you.â
âThen whoâll help you by then?â Aaron asked again.
âJeremy knows Iâm in contact with the two of you,â she reminded. âWhen I leave, heâll definitely demand
answers from the two of you. If he finds out that you facilitated my departure, youâre going to have a
hard time dealing with him. Thatâs exactly why Iâm seeking someone elseâs help!â
