Chapter 1149
The Day I Kissed An Older Man
There was a pleasant ring to the manâs tone. Judging from the background, he seemed to be at home.
Corinne said, âItâs me, Corinne.â
Jason was stunned for a moment. His charming eyes then lit up. âCorinne? I wouldnât have expected
you to call me.â
Corinne cut straight to the chase. âCan you do me a favor?â
Jason asked with a smile, âWill I get anything in return?â
Corinne frowned. She pursed her lips and asked, âShouldnât you be asking me what sort of favor I want
from you?â
Jason answered flirtatiously, âThatâs not important! As long as you give me a chance to get close to
you, Iâll agree without even batting an eye.â
Corinne frowned. She always believed Aaron to be a one-of-a-kind flirt, but it was after meeting Jason
that she realized that the latter was far ahead of Aaron in that aspect! She could not care less for his
sweet-talking and laid out her plans to him right away.
Jason was forthright about it as well and proposed the benefits he would like in return.
After considering his demands, Corinne eventually agreed and ended the call.
Jason had other things to say, but Corinne ended the call before he could do so. He looked poignantly
at the phone and sighed.
âWho were you talking to, Jason?â Zeke asked, putting his arm around Jasonâs shoulder.Books

Jason placed his phone away and smiled. âOne of my employees wanted to check something with me.â
Zeke did not suspect a single thing and led Jason back to the wine table. âLetâs continue drinking, then!
Weâve gotta get Gerald drunk today!â
On Corinneâs end, she had just ended the call with Jason when another unknown number called.
Since the phone belonged to Xante and the number was not saved, she did not plan on answering calls
on a whim and immediately declined it. To Corinneâs surprise, the number called again, and Corinne
pressed the button to hang up.
It was on the sixth call that Corinne finally answered, and she only did so because she was worried
there might be some sort of emergency.
âWhy did you keep declining my calls, Xante?â
Corinne wanted to explain to the caller that she was not Xante, but the callerâs voice sounded familiar
to her.
âHmph! You even blocked me on social media! What are you trying to achieve? Didnât I already
apologize to you?â
Corinne recognized that voice as belonging to Sunny. She was a little surprised, because as far as she
knew, they had no business with each other. âWhy would he call Xante?â she asked.
Sunny then said, âHey! Xante? Why arenât you saying anything? Are you still angry with me? Come on,
Iâve already apologized to you! I didnât even get angry with you when you told on me to my brother and
had him send someone to deal with me. You werenât like that when you pushed me into bed the other
night! You canât do this to me! Do you think Iâll let you get away with ignoring me after you slept with
me? Keep dreaming!â
Corinne finally understood what was going on. Her expression soured, and she massaged her temples.
âWhen did that happen?â
Sunny was silent.
Corinne then asked sternly, âIâm asking you a question!â
