Chapter 1172
The Day I Kissed An Older Man
The busker stopped playing his guitar and singing before he turned to look at Sunny when he saw the
comments were all about him.
âHey dude, are you okay?â he asked after putting down his guitar and walking over to him.
Sunny did not want to let others see him cry, so he wiped his tears away with his arm. âYeah, Iâm okay.
I⦠Iâm just waiting for someone.â
The busker did not know whether to laugh or cry. âWhy are you crying, then? Did the person you were
waiting for ditch you?â
âGet lost! Mind your own business,â said Sunny angrily.
This irked the busker. Anyone would be if they got roared at for caring about somebody. However, he
tried to let it slide since he thought Sunny looked like a runaway.
âIf you have nowhere else to go, do you want to stay at my place for the night? Iâm about done with my
gig anyway.â
Sunny was very tempted since he was freezing. âWhere do you live?â
The busker smiled. âJust nearby here. Wait a second while I pack up my equipment. Then weâll go.â
Sunny accepted his offer and stood up to help the busker pack. To him, anywhere would be better than
staying outside. He would probably freeze to death if he stayed out any longer.Books Chapters Are

The busker turned off his livestream, packed up his stuff, and placed the guitar on his back. âLetâs go,â
he said with a smile.
Sunny nodded and followed him out of the underpass. He was so cold and so hungry.
âDude, where do you live?â asked the busker while they were walking.
âNew Capital City.â
âDid you fight with your parents and run away?â
âYou could say that.â
The busker smiled and shook his head. âYouâre lucky to have parents who care about you, you know.
Man, Iâm so jealous of you. I know you must be angry at them, but you should really head home
tomorrow morning.â
Sunny frowned. âDonât you have any family at all?â
The busker smiled ruefully. âI do, but they never cared about me.â
âWhy not?â
The busker did not answer his question. Instead, he pointed to an alley up ahead and said, âMy place is
just right around the corner.â
Sunny subconsciously sped up as he was eager to get out of the cold. However, before he even
reached the alley, a white car came out of nowhere and blocked his path.
The white car drove so fast that it frightened Sunny and the busker.
âDonât you know how to f*cking drive?!â roared Sunny. He was already in a bad mood, and the idiotic
driving made it even worse.
âOh, believe me. I do know how to drive,â said Xante after getting out of her car.
Sunny was stunned, but then he frowned. âWhat are you doing here? I thought you didnât want to care
about me anymore.â
Xante ignored his tantrum. Instead, she looked at the busker beside him with scrutiny. âWhoâs this? And
where are you going with him?â
âJust a kind soul whoâs willing to take me in for the night,â replied Sunny darkly.
Xante frowned and rolled her eyes at him. âHavenât your parents taught you anything about âstranger
dangerâ? Get in the car now!â
Sunny was tempted, but he was not going to let her off the hook that easily. âI thought you didnât want
to care about me. Why should I get into your car?â he asked huffily.
âIâm going to count to three, and Iâll leave if you donât get into the car by the time I finish counting,â
threatened Xante impatiently.
Sunny scoffed and turned to the confused busker. âWhatâs the name of your channel?â
âUh⦠You can find me by searching âThe Lone Singerâ.â
