Chapter 1177
The Day I Kissed An Older Man
Jeremy scoffed. âDo you think Iâm in the mood to joke with you right now?â
Sophia shrugged. âWhy not? I mean, Miss Corinne could be having the best time in her life as we
speak. Thereâs no reason for you to be sad.â
Jeremy frowned. âThatâs enough chit-chat for the night. Go find another room to sleep in.â
Sophia shook her head. âWhere? I canât sleep here or in Francineâs room, and Iâm not going to sleep in
the guest room.â
âOnly you would believe in the words of a tarot reader!â said Jeremy with annoyance.
âThatâs right! And I donât see anything wrong with that! Youâre never going to make me sleep in the
guest room! You should just let me stay here for the night since it looks like youâll be too worried about
Miss Corinne to ever fall asleep. I promise Iâll go find a hotel tomorrow morning.â
âNo!â
Sophia rolled her eyes and scoffed. âWhat a stingy man! I donât think Miss Corinne cares one bit
whether another woman sleeps on her bed since itâs so obvious she doesnât want to be with you
anymore.â
Jeremyâs expression darkened. At first, he tried to suppress his anger since Sophia was an old friend of
his, and she also helped him out with the whole fake marriage thing. This time, however, she had gone
too far.
âDonât blame me for kicking you out of the house if you donât get out of the room this instant!â
Sophia shrugged. âOh please, Jeremy. You donât scare me. I know you, and youâll never do something
like that to me. But Iâve decided to be the bigger person, so Iâll get out like you want. Iâll just watch the
television the whole night in the living room. Bye.âBooks Chapters Are Daily Updated Join & Stay

After that, she strolled breezily out of the room.
Jeremy did not even spare her a glance. He looked up at the sky, wondering where and what Corinne
was doing. He was more worried than mad at her.
Sophia bumped into Francine, who was looking for her, the moment she came out of Jeremyâs room.
Francine put her hands to her hips and glared at Sophia when she saw the woman walking out of
Jeremyâs room. âHey, you! What the hell were you doing in my brotherâs room? You must be up to no
good. As a matter of fact, I wonât be surprised if youâre the reason Corinne went messing!â
âFrancine, how can you say something like that? I wanted to sleep in your room, but you kept
squeezing me out of the bed! I had no choice but to sleep in Jeremyâs room,â said Sophia
unrepentantly.
âYou couldâve just slept in the guest room! And donât give me all that mumbo-jumbo about bad energy!
Theyâre probably just excuses youâve made up to sleep in Jeremyâs bedroom. Well, youâre not so smart
if you think Iâm going to fall for that! Our family doesnât welcome you, so I suggest you leave this house
first thing tomorrow morning!â
âYou donât speak for your whole family! Your grandmother seems to like me, or have you forgotten she
asked you to give up your room for me? I have half a mind to tell her that you didnât do as she asked
you to! Do you want to bet that sheâs going to ask you to move out so that I can stay in your room?â
said Sophia confidently.
Francine was beyond livid. She did not understand why Pamela would allow such an annoying woman
to stay in the house when there was a more important crisis to solve!
âPah! My grandmother dotes on me a lot, so sheâll definitely kick you out if I tell her youâre bullying me!
That is, unless you didnât use any of your voodoo magic on her!â
Sophia smirked provocatively. âAs if Iâll believe that! Tell her that, and see whose side sheâll take!â
âWhy you evil, shameless woman! How dare you act so cocky in front of me?â exploded Francine.
