Chapter 1181
The Day I Kissed An Older Man
Gerald did not ask anything further.
âI must say, whatâs all this fuss about not being able to find Corinne? I mean, you can get any other
woman you want, Jeremy. You should just forget about her,â said Zeke.
Jeremy frowned and ignored him.
Gerald glared at Zeke. âNo one will think youâre dumb if you donât open your mouth!â
Zeke shrugged innocently and said, âWhat? Am I wrong? This isnât the first time Corinne has run away.
Why should Jeremy still care about her when she dumped him twice? If I were you, Jeremy, I wouldâve
shacked up with another woman already.â
Jeremyâs expression darkened.
Gerald quickly kicked Zeke on the legs. âWhy donât you stop annoying us and p*ss off downstairs?â
âOuch!â Zeke screamed out in pain. However, that did nothing to stop him from talking. Though, to his
credit, he did bring up the liveliness of the atmosphere.
Sophia, who sat on the armchair with a glass of wine in her hand, laughed at Zekeâs antics.
âOh, youâre funny, Mister Zeke! I wonât be surprised if girls are lining up to be your girlfriend!â
Zeke spread his hands out helplessly. âYou would think that, but no girls would even give me the time of
the day whenever Iâm around Jeremy, Zeke, Lucas, or Jason. Thatâs why I always go out on the hunt
alone. The girls wonât know what theyâre missing out on if they donât see these handsome men.â
Sophia laughed again. âDonât say that! I think youâre all handsome in your own way. Plus, theyâre not as
approachable as you.âBooks Chapters Are Daily Updated Join & Stay Updated For All Books

Zeke smiled happily at being praised. âReally? Then do you want to hang out with me sometime?â
âOf course. I could use a good time,â said Sophia with a breezy smile.
Zeke sat on the arm of Sophiaâs armchair and leaned down close to her. âYou know what? Iâve been
single for way too long, so what do you say you and I get together?â he said flirtatiously.
Sophia was stunned, but she then pushed him away playfully. âHey man, Iâm one of the guys. Stop
joking around.â
Zeke leaned in closer to her. âIâm being serious. So what do you say? Do you want to be my girlfriend?â
âMister Zeke, Iâm not interested in dating my friends. Stop this nonsense,â said Sophia with annoyance.
Zeke raised his eyebrow and spread out his hands. âSee. You just proved my point. Even you donât
want to date me, so whatâs to say about other girls?â
âDonât get this the wrong way. I donât want to date you not because I donât like you but because I
already have someone in mind. I canât really fall for any other guy at the moment. You should be more
confident about your own charm, Mister Zeke,â explained Sophia.
âOoh. Whoâs the guy? Do we know him? Tell us the name, and maybe we can help set you up with
him!â
Sophia furtively glanced at Jeremy, who was sipping his wine. âI canât tell you that. Itâs a secret!â she
said, her gaze shifting.
Zeke chuckled softly. âYou donât need to tell me, âcause my guess is. Itâs either Jeremy or Gerald,
right?â
Sophia was silent for a few seconds before she waved her hand dismissively and said, âLetâs stop the
conversation here. My love life is not for you to gossip about.â
Zeke crossed his arms and clicked his tongue. âSo itâs true! No girls would ever find me attractive
whenever Jeremy and Gerald are here. Oh, poor me. Iâm going to be forever lonely.â
