Chapter 1292
The Day I Kissed An Older Man
Corinne nodded. She ignored the two brothers and left at once.
When Corinne walked toward Lunaâs roomâthe room that Lucas had forbidden anyone else to enterâ
Sunny became even more emotional. âIs she⦠Is she really Luna?â
Lucas narrowed his eyes as he watched Corinne enter the room. He then looked at his knuckleheaded
younger brother and warned, âDonât tell anyone about this. Especially not Grandpa and Grandma. Donât
tell Dad either.â
Lucasâ stern expression made Sunny aware of how serious the matter was. He nodded solemnly and
said, âI wonât! I promise!â
âGo back to your room and get some sleep,â Lucas said as he finally allowed Sunny to leave. âDonât
disturb her if you can help it.â
Sunny answered resentfully, âFineâ¦â
As soon as he went back to his room, Sunny immediately called Xante. âXante! Corinneâs been found!
Sheâs at my house!â
âI know that,â Xante replied nonchalantly.
âYou do? Oh⦠Corinne mustâve called you earlier, then?â
âShe did.â
âI found out something thatâs even more shocking!â Sunny said.
âWhat?â
It was difficult for Sunny to contain his surprise, he deliberately lowered his voice and said softly, âSheâs
my half-sister who was lost for so many years!â
Xante kept quiet for a moment before asking, âYou found out?â
Sunny was taken aback. âWhat do you mean? Did you know about it?â
âYes.â
âThen why didnât you tell me?â
Xante remained silent.
âMan, do I have a lot to tell you, Xante. I used to bully Corinne in the past, but now that I think about it, I
regret bullying her like thatâ¦â
Faced with Sunnyâs endless rambling, Xante placed the phone on her bedroom table and left him to
chatter away. She then changed into her home clothes and came out of her bedroom.
Aaron had brought a glass of water for Jason. âHave some water, Jason. You can take a short break
here before heading back home to get some rest. Worrying about Corinne must be very tiring for you.â
Jason took the glass that Aaron handed over and drank a sip of water. âWhy canât you tell me where
Corinne is?â
Aaron smiled helplessly. âBecause she called us and specifically instructed us not to let anyone know.â
âAre you sure sheâs safe?â Jason frowned.
Aaron nodded. âYes. A hundred percent sure. You donât need to worry so much. I trust youâll find out
soon.â
Jason sought further confirmation. âIs she at Jeremyâs place?â
Aaron shook his head. âI can assure you sheâs not.â
Jason remained silent for a moment before putting down the glass of water. âIâll be excusing myself,
then.â
Aaron then said politely, âTake care now. Drive safe.
Aaron closed the door after sending Jason off. He then turned around and shrugged his shoulders at
Xante. âHeâs smitten with her.â
Xante fetched herself a glass of water. âDo you think sheâs interested in him?â
Aaron shook his head. âNo. She still canât move on from Jeremy. Itâs good that sheâs at the Riveras right
now. Lucas wonât let Jeremy bother her.â
âLetâs hope so.â Xante drank her water.
Corinne took a bath in the room that she was said to have lived in when she was younger. The maids
prepared well-fitting pajamas for her, replaced the bedsheets and pillowcases, and even brought her a
charger.
While she wiped her hair, she charged her phone and switched it on to look at her unread messages.
