Chapter 1303
The Day I Kissed An Older Man
The lipstick on Sophiaâs lips was a little smudged.
When Sophia sensed that someone was looking at her, she placed the mirror to one side and looked
into the camera to greet Corinne.
âHi, Corinne!â said Sophia with a smile. âI saw you chatting with Sunny earlier, so I thought I wouldnât
bother you! How are you feeling? You left early yesterday, so I was wondering if you managed to get a
good nightâs sleep.â
Corinne frowned and said, âThanks for your concern. I slept very well.â
Sophia smiled. âThatâs good! I was worried you would have insomnia if a certain incident left you in a
bad mood yesterday.â
Corinne scoffed. âAnd what incident could ruin my mood and make me have insomnia?â
Sophia shrugged her shoulders. âMaybe youâd get angry after seeing Jeremy celebrate my birthday. To
be honest, I understand how you feel. If I were you in your shoes, Iâd be fuming if I saw my ex-boyfriend
celebrating another girlâs birthday!â
âYou worry too much.â Corinne chuckled. âIâll still sleep soundly even if you tell me that youâve slept with
him!â
Sophia smiled and rested her hand on her chin. âOh? What if I told you that we did sleep together last
night?â
Corinne cocked an eyebrow. âLast night?â
Sophia nodded. âYup! I didnât want to tell you that at first. But since you donât seem to mind, then I
might as well be honest with you! I slept with Jeremy last night!â
Corinne narrowed her eyes and looked at her. âDid you remember correctly? Are you sure it was last
night?â
Jeremy could not have slept with Sophia while he was still on that video call with her all night. Perhaps
they did it âliveâ after she had fallen asleep.
Sophia smiled bashfully. âWell, this is how it went down! You left early last night, didnât you? Jason
came to me and asked me if I saw you, so I went with him to check the hotel surveillance. We saw from
the recording that Jeremy had carried you awayâ¦â Her tone was somewhat insinuative.
Corinne explained, âThatâs because I fainted after my blood sugar level was too low. He wouldnât have
carried me if I was still conscious.â
âYou donât need to explain yourself, Corinne!â Sophia beamed with a smile. âI know everything, and Iâm
not angry at all! Jeremy told me everything so I donât have any misunderstandings!â
Corinneâs lips twitched. âNo one cares if youâre angry or not. Iâm just stating the facts.â
Sophia held her face like a lovesick woman and continued, âJason and I went out to find you two. By
the time we located Jeremyâs car, you were already gone. Jason continued to look for you, but I got into
Jeremyâs car. He sent me back to the hotel after that.â
Corinne remained expressionless. âOh.â
Sophia then winked charmingly. âIs that all you can say? Arenât you curious about what happened
next?â
âNot at all,â Corinne answered.
âIâm still going to tell you anyway!â Sophia thought to herself and smirked. She continued, âJeremy then
told me that he was in a bad mood, so he wanted to rest in my room and share a drink with him.
Then⦠Well, you know what happens when a lonely man and a single woman share some drinks. It all
happened so naturallyâ¦â
Sophia covered her face in ecstasy as though reminiscing about it, even though she felt all shy.
Corinne was speechless.
âCome to think of it, I have you to thank too!â
âFor what?â
