Chapter 1349
The Day I Kissed An Older Man
Aaron lowered his gaze and kept quiet.
The partition Xante raised to separate the front seat from the back seat had very poor sound insulation.
She could hear what they were both talking about behind her. âI never wouldâve thought that Aaron
would one day be in such a sorry state! He deserves it though.â
She fished out a box of ladiesâ cigarettes from her handbag and took one cigarette out. She was about
to light it up when the car door suddenly opened. Sunny sat in angrily and snatched it away.
Xante frowned. âWhat are you doing?â
âI donât like it when you smoke!â Sunny said with a sullen face.
Xante ignored him and took out a new cigarette from the cigarette box.
Sunny snatched that away too. âGirls shouldnât smoke!â
Xante became a little impatient. âYou canât control me.â
Sunny said seriously, âWho else is going to control you if I donât? Iâm your boyfriend!â
âDonât flatter yourself,â Xante smirked. âI simply didnât reject you. I never agreed to you being my
boyfriend.â
Sunny frowned. âWhat nonsense are you talking about? I am your boyfriend! Weâve slept together!â
Xante adjusted her gold-rimmed spectacles. âI canât even begin to count the number of men Iâve slept
with. Youâre not the only one. Are you saying theyâre all my boyfriends?â
She took out another cigarette from her cigarette box and put it in her mouth. Since two of her
cigarettes had been swiped away, she had the foresight to avoid Sunny. After lighting the cigarette, she
took a puff and exhaled the smoke into Sunnyâs face. âDonât have a fling with me if youâre going to
catch feelings. Itâs not fun anymore if you take this seriously.â
Sunny frowned and emphasized. âItâs not a fling!â
Xante smirked and took another puff of her cigarette. âIt is to me!â
Sunny gritted his teeth in disbelief. âYouâre being ridiculous! You said before that you like me!â
âI do!â Xante replied frivolously. âWho doesnât like a young, hot stud? Youâre not the only young boy I
like. I like plenty of other young boys!â
Sunny was incensed. âYouâ¦â
Xante placed the cigarette between her lips and looked at Lucasâs vehicle nearby. âDidnât your brother
stop you from coming to me?â
âHe canât stop me even if he wanted to!â Sunny retorted. âI listen to him when it comes to other matters,
but I wonât listen to him when it comes to yours! You donât have to worry that my family will disagree
with our relationship. Corinne is my half-sister, and sheâll help us! Her words carry a lot of weight with
Lucas, and he wonât object as long as she approves of us!â
Xante took a puff of his cigarette and said disapprovingly, âI wonât marry you even if your family gives
the green light! Donât overthink.â
Sunny was angry, but above all, he was hurt. âWhy? Why wonât you marry me?â
Xante looked at him past the wisps of smoke. âBecause I havenât had enough fun yet.â
Sunny gritted his teeth and had a sullen expression. He had never been treated so flippantly before.
Rather than get angry, however, he took a deep breath and said, âThen Iâll wait for you to have your fill
of fun! I donât mind. Iâm still young, and I have plenty of time to wait!â
Xante paused for a moment and stared thoughtfully at Sunny. âWhat do you like about me?â
Sunny snorted. âI donât know!â
âThen why are you so determined when you canât even give me a reason why you like me? You need
to sober up!â Xante remarked.
Sunny growled. âYouâre the one who needs to sober up. My mind is very clear!â
