Chapter 1523
The Day I Kissed An Older Man
Chapter 1523
Bryanâ shook his head listlessly. He then asked anxiously, âMommy, are you taking me to the doctor to
get a jab?â
Corinne was a little taken aback by his question, but she then laughed. âNo, sweetheart. Mommyâs only
taking you to talk to the doctor. There wonât be any jabs today. Be a good boy, and eat your sandwich,
okay?â
Only then did âBryanâ take and eat the sandwich moodily.
âCorinne, Iâm introducing my friend to you, not Bryan. Why are you letting him talk to my friend
instead?â asked Annie with annoyance.
âYour friend is a therapist, right? Canât he provide counseling for Bryan?â asked Corinne.
Annie took a bite of her sandwich and thought about it. âHe can, but⦠Oh, fine! I guess itâs not going to
make much of a difference since weâll all be in the same room talking.â
Corinne did not give much thought to what Annie meant. She looked down at Bryanâ with a complicated
gaze.
That night, she saw a kid that looked just like her son. In fact, they even slept the same way.
At that moment, she had an urge to pick up and take the sleeping kid home. However, she stopped
herself since she did not want to scare him, and it would be dangerous for the two of them to leave out
of the window.
âSo that kid is the eldest of the triplets⦠I wonder what his life is like living with Jeremy?â thought
Corinne.
Half an hour later, their car stopped in front of a mansion.
âWeâre here, Corinne!â said Annie excitedly. She quickly got down from the car and ran to the other side
to open the door for Corinne.
Corinne got down from the car with âBryanâ in her arms. She looked around and thought, âThis place is
so beautiful and quiet.â
âThis way, Corinne. I canât wait to introduce my friend to you,â said Annie, pointing at the door.
Corinne nodded and followed her in.
A housekeeper greeted them at the door and led them to the living room.
âDoctor David will be down shortly. Heâs currently with a friend upstairs,â said the housekeeper.
Corinne sat down on the sofa with Bryan. She looked around and found the living room to be very cozy
and luxurious. It certainly did not look like an office.
After a while, she heard the sound of footsteps coming down the stairs.
She looked up and saw an elegant man walking down gracefully.
Annie immediately went over to greet him with a smile. âHello, Doctor David. Iâve brought another friend
to meet you again!â
David Weston smiled. âWhy, thank you, Annie. Iâm always grateful to you for introducing clients to me.â
âWhat took you so long to come down and meet US, then?â
âA friend dropped by for a chat and some drinks.â
Annie frowned with annoyance. âWhat?! Drinking this early in the morning? Are you still able to provide
counseling for US, then?â
David was calm and clear-headed. âI only drank a little. Donât worry, it wonât affect my work. Plus,
todayâs supposed to be my day off, but I decided to open up my office for you.â
