Chapter 302
The Day I Kissed An Older Man
Chapter 302
After coming out of the ward, Anya looked around the hospital corridor to search for Jeremy, who had
just left. Alas, she did not see any trace of him in the corridor, despite the few
minutesâ difference between the time she and he came out. â Where did Jeremy go?â
At long last, the stairwell door in front of the corridor was pushed open, and Tommy walked in with a
serious expression.
Anya walked over immediately just in time to meet him.
Tommy nodded slightly and greeted her. âMiss Anya.â
Anya nodded in return and asked, âMister Tommy, is Jeremy in there?â
Tommy replied truthfully. âYes. Heâs inside.â
âIâll go in and see him, then.â Anya then walked over and pushed the stairwell door open.
Tommy did not stop her, and he merely glanced at Anyaâs back as she went in. There was a somewhat
conflicted look on his usually calm and steady expression, but he walked away in a hurry because he

Anyaâs pale face turned red, and she reached out to tug the corner of Jeremyâs clothes. âCould you
bring me downstairs then? I want you to send me offâ¦â
After yet another moment of brief silence, he stubbed out his cigarette and said, âLetâs go.â
There was a touch of girlish tenderness in Anyaâs expression, and she nodded obediently as she
followed Jeremy out. She then said to Lucas who was waiting at the door of the stairwell, âLetâs go
home, Lucas!â
Lucas narrowed his eyes at her and snorted in an almost angry tone. âYou didnât listen when I told you
to go home earlier, but somehow, you became obedient after he told you to go home?â
Anya blushed, glanced shyly at Jeremy, then stomped her feet and said, âLucas!â
âFine. Come on, then.â Lucas patted Anyaâs head, chuckled softly, and shot Jeremy a cold look.
âThanks for not holding past grudges to heart and persuading Anya to go home.â
âNo worries,â Jeremy replied curtly with a nonchalant expression.
