Chapter 882
The Day I Kissed An Older Man
Chapter 882
Not wanting to let Corinne talk to Jason anymore, Francine dragged her out of the store. Once outside,
she let go of her and muttered âsl*tâ under her breath.
Corinne pretended not to have heard it. She looked around and asked, âWhat do you want to have for
lunch?â
Francine nearly blew up when she failed to bait Corinne into a fight. âI saw everything! Jason used a
photo of you as his phoneâs wallpaper! Isnât it enough that youâve seduced my brother that youâre now
seducing Jason, too?â
Corinne did not even notice Jason used a photo of her as his phoneâs wallpaper. Surprised, she could
not help but wonder how Jason managed to get her photo. After thinking about it, she recalled him
saving a photo of her when he helped Annie take a group photo during the party held at Lunar Century
Manor last time.
âUgh⦠Doesnât he have any boundaries at all?â she thought angrily. Then, while walking to the Asian
cuisine restaurant in front of them, Corinne answered nonchalantly, âItâs not like youâre going to believe
me if I tell you I didnât seduce him, so we should just stop this conversation and have lunch first âcause
Iâm sure am hungry.â
Francine had no choice but to follow angrily behind her. She was frustrated at how nonchalant Corinne
was.
The two of them sat in the restaurant and ordered their food.
However, even when everything was served, Francine remained unmoving. She simply glared
vehemently at Corinne with her arms crossed as though Corinne had just killed her family.
Corinne took a few bites before looking up at Francine. âWhy are you so angry? So what if Iâve
exchanged a few words with another man? Isnât this the perfect opportunity for you to go running back
to your brother and snitch on me?â
âIâm worried youâll cheat on my brother,â replied Francine unhappily.
Corinne smiled. âWell, wonât that be perfect for you? I mean, you did try to set me up last time. Iâll be
kicked out of your family if Iâm found cheating, then you can ask your brother to marry someone youâre
happy to call your sister-in-law.â
Francine was speechless. I did go overboard with what I did to Corinne last timeâ¦â she thought guiltily.
She did not get the idea of hiring somebody to r*pe Corinne until she heard from Anya during one of
their phone calls about a piece of local news that shocked everyone. âIt was so stupid of me. Good
thing Corinne was smart enough to not fall for my trapâ¦â
For some reason, she did not truly want Jeremy to give her a new sister-in-law.
âCorinne, I know youâre not interested in Jason, but you should know that men will always be attracted
to -beautiful women like you, so make sure you keep your distance and not let my brother down.â
Corinne raised her eyebrow. âYouâre worried Iâll let your brother down?â
Francine rubbed the back of her neck awkwardly. âI mean, heâs head over heels for you, so what can I
do? And itâs not like I have the power to kick you out of the house.â
Corinne chuckled softly and placed a piece of meat on her plate. âHere, eat this. You shouldnât worry
your little head about adult business when you canât even do elementary math.â
Francineâs face turned red. âHey! Iâm one year older than you!â
âOh, so you know that, too,â said Corinne after taking another bite of her food.
Francine fell speechless.
After that, hunger got the best of them two, so they stopped talking and ate quietly.
âCorinne!â
After a while, Corinne heard a somewhat unfamiliar voice calling out her name. She could not quite
place who the voice belonged to.
âWhat the heck is going on today? Why does it seem like Iâm bumping into everyone wherever I go?â
She turned around and saw a tall, skinny young man dressed in a white T-shirt and jeans walking
toward them.
