Sitting in the library I study the notes of the last few days

Only a few months are left to complete this degree

A nudge on my shoulder distracted me

A guy wearing black jeans with his eyebrow pierced looked at me with an angry expression on his face

“So, tell me where he is "He took a seat beside me

“Excuse me,” I said raising my eyebrow

“Don’t pretend Infront of me "he said loudly

People looked at us

“Lower your voice we are in the library, "I said annoyed

“Bitch tell me where the fuck he is,"he asks

A confused expression on my face who is he talking about

“Don’t act so innocent where the fuck is Noah”

how would I know where the fuck he is?

“Hmm probably fucking some girl in the washroom” I replied smiling sarcastically

I didn't listen whatever he has to say grabbing my books, I walked out of the library

Standing outside ava’s home I rang the doorbell

As she opened the door

“Rose, "she said happily we hugged each other

“I bought some chocolates for you,” I said smiling

Chocolates are her comfort food

“Thanks, I am so happy that you are here,” ava said with a big smile on her face

“How are you feeling,” I asked her concerned

“I am much better Just a little headache "she replied

we talked for some time but I noticed today she is quite

usually, once ava starts talking no one can stop her

so, I thought about watching movie together

watching movies always brightens  her mood

but before I click the play button

“stop” her voice interrupted me

“Rose tells me about the other night who was that guy "she continued

nothing can change her mind now not unless I tell her

she clutched me by the shoulder and pulled me inside towards her bedroom

“There is a stalker,” I said as I sit on the bed

“What and you are telling me this now?” She said shocked

“Who he is?” she questioned

“Dante king”

“What, "she said more like yelled

“Are you kidding me "she continued

“Do you know him?" I asked confused

“Who doesn’t know him he is the most handsome bachelor and he is so hot”

I heard her mumble “does he even have time to stalk someone”?

I groaned “are you on his side or mine”

“Are you sure it's him? "She asked

“Deadass we even kissed” I replied

“What the fuck rose You kissed Dante king” she said astonished

“I didn’t mean to but I don’t know what came over me” I babbled

“I mean I get it when your stalker is someone like him,” she said in a playful tone

“Ugh stop it ava what’s wrong with you admiring him” I groaned covering my face with the pillow

“Says the one who kissed her stalker"

“He is not what he seems like,” I said with a serious look

“What do you mean,” she asked

“He drugged me and even break into my house and I have a feeling he has done a lot worse than this”

“Oh god rose this is serious,” she said

I sighed “I don’t think cops will help"

“You are right it will be a dumb idea to go to cops he is a powerful man rose we have to do something else,” she said agreeing with me

But she stopped and stared at me as if I am an alien

“What,” I said

“Do you like him”

I opened my mouth and closed it not able to say anything

“Yes, you do I can see it in your eyes”

“Ava, it's not that simple,” I said

“What’s wrong talk to me freely I won’t judge you rose you know I will always be there for you,” she said caressing my hand

“I feel like he is someone from my past maybe we were something in past”

“You mean your boyfriend” she guessed

“I don’t know it is just that whenever he is near me, I feel like I have been with him before”

“Whenever he touches me, I feel a sense of intimacy”

“Rose, I think you should ignore him that’s the only thing we can do for now until we find some solution”

“Rose you can stay with me if you don’t feel safe in your house,” she said

“No no I am okay I will change the lock tomorrow” I assured her

As I walk back to my apartment after talking to ava about everything,

I see a couple making out he whirls her around and she smiles at him kissing him softly they look at each other touching each other bodies like they can’t get enough

All of a sudden, I feel immense headache in my head I clutch my temple .

closing my eyes, I see vivid images appearing in front of me

A woman hugging a man’s back whispering"I love you "

I groaned   leaning on the wall for support

A man's voice echoing in my head “you will always be mine no matter what”

The same words repeating in my head

“Stop"I clutch my head

"You will always be mine you can't escape from me"

the people on the streets walking their faces blurred I feel my head spinning

the headache getting worse

“Please stop it "I yelled

All I see is black darkness it’s hard to stand I feel my knees giving up just before I fall, I feel someone's arms around me lifting me up I tried to see who it is but all I see is a blurred face

“I- "I tried to say something but only a strangled sob crept in the back of my throat

My head leaning on a warm chest

I feel a warm tingling sensation on my forehead a kiss a familiar scent invaded my nostrils

The only words I heard before succumbing to darkness were

“Shh, I got you

My love”
