Chapter 607
Between Ruin And Resolve: My Ex-Husband’s Regret
Chapter 607:
He motioned for Anson to take a seat.
âYour strategy was brilliant, Grandfather,â Anson mused, recalling Viviâs desperate determination, a cold smirk forming.
Initially, Tiana was meant to act against Amy after Vivi had left, but surprisingly, Vivi had hurt her own mentor before Tiana made the move.
âOnly an idiot like Moses would believe weâd actually help him take over the Wall Group,â Damian sneered.
From the beginning, he had never considered the Quinns as anything more than pawns.
But Viviâs recklessness had not only secured them the Quinn Groupâs sharesâit had also created an opportunity to win Noahâs trust. Two birds, one stone.
At the entrance of the police station, Samuel climbed into a sleek business car, tablet in hand. âMr. Wall, weâve recovered the surveillance footage.â
Noah took the device, his gaze darkening as he watched Vivi enter the private room.
Samuel continued, âAlso, the person monitoring Tiana confirmed she went to the Quinn familyâs residence.â
The evidence was damningâVivi was directly involved in the case.
A bodyguard approached the car and leaned in to whisper, âMr. Wall, Anson has just arrivedâand he brought Tiana along.â
Noahâs eyes narrowed. Excellent timing.
âIâm sorry for disturbing you at this late hour, Mr. Wall,â Anson said, sliding into the plush back seat with a grin practically plastered on his face. âMy family originally intended to partner with the Quinns, but we never imagined theyâd pull a stunt like this. Itâs an absolute disgrace!â He unleashed a theatrical sigh. âI bumped into Tiana and learned that Vivi framed Miss Hudson. Can you believe it? Naturally, I brought Tiana straight to you so she could explain in person.â
Beside him, Tiana trembled, fragile and pitiable.
Ansonâs little monologue was impeccably crafted, exonerating himself completely.

âMr. Wall, it was Vivi!â Tiana wailed, tears streaming as she collapsed to her knees. âShe forced me to go along with her planâplease, forgive me! I had no idea what was happening!â What a show.
âHow considerate of you, Mr. Olson,â Noah remarked, his voice giving nothing away.
Realizing Noah wasnât pressing for details, Anson exhaled a discreet sigh of relief and seized the moment.
âActually, Mr. Wall⦠my family has a new project in the works. Weâve been hoping to collaborate with the Wall Group. Would you be open to talking it over?â
He rubbed his hands together, finally revealing his true agenda.
âCome by Wall Group on Monday,â Noah said calmly. âWeâll discuss it then.â
âThatâs wonderful news! Thank you, Mr. Wall!â Anson replied, grinning from ear to ear as he bobbed his head in gratitude. Heâd braced himself for a hard sell and was stunned by how easily things had gone.
âIn that case, I wonât keep you any longer, Mr. Wall. See you next week.â
Not long after Anson left, Tiana was quietly led away by the bodyguards, and the car slid into silence once again.
âSamuel.â
