Chapter 632
Between Ruin And Resolve: My Ex-Husband’s Regret
Chapter 632:
Sadie didnât move right away. She sat frozen, her eyes fixed on the iron gate.
Once, Nigel had always welcomed her with a warm smile. Now, that warmth was gone.
Swallowing the ache in her chest, she forced herself out of the car.
The moment she stepped onto the courtyard, her gaze landed on Isabel. She stood among the servants, issuing orders as they loaded things into the waiting cars.
They were leaving.
The moment Isabel laid eyes on Sadie, her expression darkened, disdain flashing in her gaze.
âWhat are you doing here?â Her voice was cold, sharp enough to cut through stone.
âIsabelââ Sadie barely managed to choke out the word, her voice quivering with emotion. Her fists trembled at her sides as she stepped forward, desperation propelling her.
She nearly dropped to her knees, ready to begâto plead for a chance to go to Zupren and care for Noah.
But Isabel was quicker. Anticipating her move, she seized Sadieâs arm before she could kneel and shoved her back with unyielding force.
âDonât bother.â
A tense pause followed before Isabelâs lips curled into a bitter sneer. âNow you remember Noah? Havenât you been having a good time with Alex all this time?â
â1 wasnâtââ Sadie tried to explain, frantic, but Isabel cut her off with a scornful glare.
ââEnough, Sadie. Do you think Iâm as naive as Noah? I wonât fall for your act!â
Then, without hesitation, she barked an order. âSomeone, get her out of here!â

The command sent servants rushing forward. Without mercy, they surrounded Sadie, hands gripping her arms, shoving her back.
ââLet me go!â Sadie thrashed against their hold, her voice raw with anguish. ââIsabel, pleaseâplease let me go to Zupren! Let me take care of NoahâIâm begging you!â
Her cries were hoarse, desperate.
But Isabel didnât flinch. Her gaze remained cold. She was unmoved by Sadieâs suffering. She didnât spare Sadie another glance. Without hesitation, she turned back to the servants, issuing orders with cold detachment.
âHurry up. Get everything on the carsâweâre leaving now.â
The servants moved swiftly, while Sadie was manhandled out of Wall Manor.
Rough hands shoved her past the threshold, and the heavy iron gate groaned as it swung shut behind her. Her legs gave out. She collapsed onto the cold pavement, despair sinking its claws deep into her chest. Was this truly the end for her and Noah?
Samuel rushed forward, catching her trembling body before she could completely fall apart. His voice was gentle, laced with concern. âAre you alright?â
Sadie didnât answer. She only nodded her head, her empty gaze fixed on nothing.
Samuel sighed. The wind carried the scent of impending rain, thick and heavy in the air. âItâs about to storm any minute now. Let me take you back to Myrtlewood Estate.â
She offered no resistance, no wordsâjust silent surrender as he helped her into the car.
Myrtlewood Estate.
Everything was the same. The familiar walls, the furniture she once shared with Noah, the echoes of their life togetherâyet now, it all felt hollow.
