Chapter 634
Between Ruin And Resolve: My Ex-Husband’s Regret
Chapter 634:
Time wasnât on their side.
But things didnât go as smoothly as Sadie had hoped.
When they reached the hotel, Isabelâs servant blocked their path.
âMrs. Wall has no interest in seeing you,â the servant sneered.
Sadieâs jaw clenched.
Without hesitating, she shoved past the servant and stormed inside.
Samuel was right behind her, shielding her from interference.
âSadie, whatâs the meaning of this?â
Isabel, seated on the living room sofa, was furious. âSamuel, are you betraying me too?â
Sadie strode forward and slammed a document onto the table.
âThis is a share transfer contract.â
Isabel skimmed the paperwork, then exploded.
âSadie, I never realized you were so ambitious! Noah isnât even dead, and here you are, scheming for his shares? Coyle, at least, bears our family name. Iâd rather entrust the company to him than to an outsider like you!â
Sadieâs heart ached, but she bit back the anger.
Slapping her palm on the table, she hissed, âYouâll sign today, whether you want to or not!â
âHow dare you!â Isabel gasped, taken aback by Sadieâs boldness.
With a bitter laugh, Isabel snatched the contract and tore it to shreds.
âKeep dreaming!â Isabel sneered and threw the torn pieces at Sadie. âYouâre a disgraceâyou betrayed Noah and gave birth to another manâs child. Youâre unworthy of his company shares. Walk away!â

Sadie trembled, her face drained of color as years of buried emotion surged forth.
âAveri is Noahâs biological son!â Sadie shouted, her voice hoarse with desperation. âIf you donât believe me, we can do a DNA test.â
The room fell deafeningly silent.
Isabelâs eyes widened, her body swaying slightly as if struck.
Samuel, frozen in place, struggled to process the revelation.
âNo⦠thatâs not possibleâ¦â Isabel stammered after a long pause, her voice barely audible.
âYouâre lying!â Isabel shrieked, panic creeping in. âAveri canât be Noahâs child!â
Sadie crossed her arms, a cold smile playing on her lips.
âWhy not?â she countered icily. âThree years ago, Noah didnât want this child, so I left the country to protect him. I have proofâAveriâs birth certificate, medical recordsâall confirming Noah is the father.â
Isabelâs knees buckled as she struggled to stand. Her mind flashed with images of Averiâs innocent face. Could this boy truly be Noahâs son? But she had commissioned a DNA test before, which showed no blood relation between him and Noahâhow could that be explained?
Her thoughts spiraled as confusion clouded her eyes.
âThat DNA test report was brought to me by Kyla!â Isabel shouted.
âThereâs no way it could be forged! You manipulative woman, stop fabricating lies!â
Sadieâs expression darkened, amusement flickering beneath her glare.
âDidnât Kyla âhelpâ you resolve a sticky situation ten years ago?â Sadie asked, her voice laced with sarcasm. âDidnât you find it odd that a novice lawyer had the ability to deal with the mob?â
