Chapter 810
Between Ruin And Resolve: My Ex-Husband’s Regret
Chapter 810:
When she lifted her head again, her eyes were clear and devoid of any emotion.
âLetâs head home.â
Samuel simply nodded and started the car.
Even as they pulled up in front of Myrtlewood Estate, Sadie was deep in her thoughts. She only came back to her senses when Samuel spoke.
âWeâve arrived, Ms. Hudson.â
Sadie nodded and pushed the car door open to get out.
Just as her feet touched the gravel path, a familiar voiceâdeep and gentleâcalled out to her.
âSadie.â
She froze in her tracks. Her body was rigid as she slowly turned around.
Sure enough, Noah stood there, seemingly waiting for her.
He wasnât wearing that cold silver mask today, and his handsome features appeared somewhat soft.
Sadieâs hands balled into fists again as the things she had overheard at Dinner Bell came crashing back in full force.
She said nothing and quickly looked away, intending to flee into the safety of her villa.
She was trying to avoid him, and Noah knew it.
He took two long strides and grabbed her arm.
âWhatâs wrong?â
Her skin was cold to the touch, sending a chill down his spine.
Sadie forcefully pulled her arm free and took several steps back for good measure.
âArenât you supposed to be with your wife and baby, Mr. Noel?â she asked sarcastically. âWhat are you doing here, seeking me out at this hour? Do you have a new business project to discuss? If not, then please leave. If you do, then youâll have to wait until the morning, and we can talk about it during my working hours.â
She still refused to look at Noah.

By then, Averi had heard the commotion from the living room, and he came bounding out the door and down the steps toward them.
The boyâs eyes immediately lit up when they fell on the man who resembled his father so much.
Averi didnât even hesitate to rush over and hug Noahâs leg.
âDad, youâre back! Thatâs great! Mom and I have missed you so much.â
A small gasp escaped Sadieâs lips. She hadnât seen this coming at all. Worse yet, Averiâs words broke her heart.
Noah had lost his memory and had already started a new family, but Averi was still his son, after all. She couldnât be selfish and keep the two away from each other.
