Chapter 1134
Mr. Kane Got Blacklisted
Suddenly, Keeganâs face darkened. âWait, are you saying Iâm hindering you from finding another love?â
Stella chuckled and said, âIâm saying that I wouldnât choose anyone else with you here. Thereâs no denying Mr. Moore is rather goodlooking, but I still love you the most.â
Keeganâs anger subsided after hearing what Stella just said.
âI think you should be more worried about yourself if you think heâd turn aggressive during his switches.
Iâve only known him for a few months, and we donât even contact each other much. You, on the other hand⦠Youâre his childhood best friend, and your families are well acquainted. Heâd probably want to hurt you more than heâd hurt me. Right?â
âHe canât beat me,â Keegan confidently said.
âThatâs not necessarily true, though. Iâd say Mr. Moore is as fit as you. He even won first place in amateur boxing before. The only exercises you do are running and lifting some weights here and there.
I donât think youâre his match.â
Keeganâs eyelids twitched at the sound of that. âAnd how do you know heâs as fit as me?â
Stella was stunned. âIâm just guessing. By the way, I bought two mugs today,â she said, trying to change the topic of conversation. Stella then grabbed and opened the gift box Marshall had handed her earlier to show Keegan what she had chosen. âArenât they cute?â
Keegan took a look and relaxed his brows when he saw that they were couple mugs. He closed the box and tucked Stellaâs hair behind her ears before asking, âDoes it still hurt?â
âYes. It hurts,â Stella said immediately.
âDo you want me to blow on it?â Keegan asked.
âDo I look like a child?â Though Stella said that, she still leaned forward and continued, âGo on, then.â
Keegan laughed. âDidnât you say you werenât a child?â
Stella closed her eyes and said, âA child may find blowing on a wound childish, but I find it endearing.â
Keegan accepted her skewed answer and gently blew on her injury. âWhat do you want to eat later?â
He asked while doing that.
âWe can just eat at home. Iâve bought a fish, remember?â
âBut youâre hurt. You shouldnât be cooking.â
âThen, you cook while I tell you what to do,â Stella replied nonchalantly.
Her words made Keegan speechless. âWhy donât we just order some takeout?â
Stella opened her eyes and said, âIs it so difficult for you to cook for me just this once?â
âItâs not that. I have confidence in my cooking. Itâs your teaching Iâm worried about,â said Keegan.
