Stella did not expect Hylda to search for clues in Xenia’s phone. Fortunately forthem, Hylda could not find anything since Xenia did not save Stella’s number and had deleted their conversations.

Stella wondered why she would invite Xenia over to the wedding. ‘Is she going to expose Albert for having a mistress? But, she’s about to become Mrs. Jewell. It would be quite a slap in the face if she did that on her wedding day. Or… is she going to expose the child?’

At that time, Xenia realized that her phone was missing. ‘I must’ve left it in the cab,’ she thought. She then started getting anxious about not being able to contact Stella. She was looking for her in the crowd when she suddenly heard Albert say, ’Xenia? Why are you here?” His tone was full of surprise. He quickly glanced around to see if anyone noticed them and frowned. “Didn’t I tell you to stay at home and take care of yourself? Why did you come here?”

Xenia finally saw Stella at that moment and felt relieved when she saw the reassuring look Stella gave her.

Albert was in a sticky situation. He had organized the wedding without Xenia’s knowledge since he did not want to lose her nor did he want to lose Hylda.

Before leaving Xenia’s place, Albert had instructed the bodyguards to keep an eye on Xenia and prevent her from leaving the house. ‘Those idiots. Why can’t they just do their job?’ he thought. ‘People are going to think that something is wrong when they see this young girl crying in front of me. Ugh.

This wedding is just a formality. I don’t have any feelings for her anymore, but the child… Don’t worry. I promise I’ll divorce her as soon as the baby is born.”

“Albert, what are you doing here?” Hylda’s voice came from behind, and it frightened Albert.

Albert was at a loss. “I’m not doing anything. It wasn’t me who invited her. Ah, forget it. I’ll have someone send her away immediately.”

“Hey, hey, hey. What’s with all the commotion?” Vermont appeared out of nowhere and said. When he saw Xenia’s face, he paused for a moment and continued, “This young lady looks rather familiar.”

Hylda was embarrassed by the situation and remained silent.
