Chapter 1210

Stella glared at Keegan and said, ‘Thanks, but that did not feel like a compliment.’ She then looked away and thought, ‘What a mutt! I should have known better than to try to appease him!’

Meanwhile, Keegan’s mood lightened up a bit after teasing Stella.

Soon, they arrived at Royalpark Villa. When they got out of the car, Aldor called out to Keegan and handed him a bag. “Mr. Kane, Mr. Snyder dropped this off for you before he left.”

Keegan grabbed the bag and was about to open it to see what was inside, when Stella yelled, “Keegan, I forgot the code for the door.’ He closed the bag and dismissed Aldor before walking toward Stella.

After their divorce, Keegan rarely stayed at Royalpark Villa, so the housekeeper did not need to live there permanently anymore. Thus, she would only come over every two days to clean up the house.

Upon entering, the place looked deserted. Keegan placed the bag he was carrying on the couch and went to the kitchen to grab himself a glass of water.

Stella poked her head through the door and looked around before she finally walked in. Although she had lived in Royalpark Villa for three years, it felt odd to be back after so long. Nothing much had changed in the house since Keegan had not moved anything. The two couple pillows on the couch were still placed together side by side, just like when Stella and Keegan were still married to each other.

Stella then walked over and sat on the couch. When she reached out to grab the throw pillow, she noticed that the bag Keegan had left there. She picked it up and saw the hospital logo on it. ‘Is Keegan not feeling well?’ she thought.

She looked toward the kitchen and yelled, “Did you grab a prescription earlier?’

“What?” Keegan’s voice came from the kitchen.

“I’m talking about the bag with the hospital logo,” Stella said.

Keegan was washing some cups as he replied, “Oh. It’s from Vermont.”

It was unclear whether Stella heard him, but she said, ’I’m going to open it up and take a look.’

“Sure.” Keegan opened the cabinet, grabbed two tea bags, and placed them into the cups. He then came out of the kitchen with two cups of tea and saw Stella sitting on the couch. She was lost in her thoughts.

When Keegan approached her, he saw what was in the bag and blushed. Vermont had given him a bunch of adult products. He hurriedly put the drinks down and said, “I didn’t buy those!”

“Oh, okay. What does this one do?” Stella asked, pointing to one of the items.

Keegan was taken aback. ‘Why is she being so open about this?’

He glanced at the item and said, ’I have no idea.’ Then, he paused for a moment and added, “Are there any instructions?”

Stella looked at the manual and tossed it to Keegan. ‘It’s in another language. Can you translate it?”

Keegan was confused. He glanced over the instructions and said, “Are you sure you want me to translate this verbally?”

Stella did feel shy about the situation, but her curiosity got the better of her. She had never seen adult products in real life before. ’It looks so weird. I want to know how people use it,” she said.

Keegan read through the instructions and pursed his lips. “I don’t know how to translate this.” “Really?”

Stella grabbed the manual back, and after struggling to read the first sentence, Keegan said, “Why don’t I show you how to use it?”
