Chapter 1263
Mr. Kane Got Blacklisted
The other parents were convinced by the fact that the kindergarten was simply trying to raise the tuition fees.
âDidnât they claim that the beds in the dormitory for afternoon naps were broken and couldnât be used anymore? They wanted us to pick up our children in the middle of the day. They finish school at eleven something, and all of us would be at work at that time. We talked to them about it, and they said that they didnât have enough money to replace the broken beds and wanted us to wait until the next semester. That solution was nonsense. As a result, we parents had to pay an extra two hundred dollars every month. Iâm sure that theyâre just going to do the same thing again.â
âItâs only been a few months since that happened, right? How could they raise it again? The tuition fees here are already more expensive than other places. This is ridiculous. Do they think our money grows on trees? Weâre paying about a thousand dollars here without including the meals. Are we sending our children to a kindergarten or a university?â
âWeâve got to bring this matter up to the authorities if theyâre really trying to raise the tuition fees again.
Itâs unacceptable for them to raise it again in just two months.â
After seeing that the discussion was getting offtrack, the chubby lady quickly added, âSo what if theyâre going to raise the tuition fees? We all chose this kindergarten because of its location, and it offers high-
quality education. We should be willing to spend just any amount for the sake of our children. The problem now isnât the tuition fees anymore. If this is a real land dispute and the land has to be reclaimed, itâs a matter of whether our children will have a school to attend at all.â
Her words struck a chord with the parents, and they immediately became worried.
Suddenly, one of the parents said calmly, âLetâs not panic before we find out whatâs really happening.
Itâs a big matter since hundreds of children are attending this kindergarten. We shouldnât be the ones bearing the consequences if there really is a dispute. Iâm sure that someone else will take over the kindergarten. Letâs stay calm and try not to be manipulated by others.â
The chubby lady in a white shirt got upset. âWhat do you mean manipulated? Iâm just worried about our childrenâs education and sharing what I heard with everyone. Who cares about who this place belongs to? Iâm only concerned about whether my child can continue to attend school.â
The calm parent was bewildered. âI was just expressing so defensive?â
The chubby lady was embarrassed. âYeah, yeah. to manipulate anyone when your children donât have a school to attend!â
The other parents began to de-escalate âIâm pretty sure that wasnât her intention.â
âWeâre all just concerned about our childrenâs education. Letâs not argue with each other.â
âWeâve got to work together when our children are really forced to leave.â
After the crowd had dispersed, the chubby lady called someone.
The police only left the kindergarten after a little over an hour.
On the same afternoon, the school suddenly posted a message in the parentsâ group chat, stating that the kindergarten would need to suspend its classes for some time due to some unforeseen circumstances.
The group chat was flooded with messages as soon as that statement was sent.
Everyone started asking what happened, why they had to suspend classes out of the blue, and when would the classes resume.
The teachers evaded the questions and only told the parents to wait for further announcements.
âWait for further announcementsâ was the last thing the parents wanted to hear. They had no idea if they should wait for the announcement about classes resuming or the kindergarten getting shut down.
