Chapter 1344

Felicity’s mind was a mess, and she realized that she had not been herself last night.

She figured that she was not drunk, as she did not blackout. In fact, she could remember a lot of things very clearly.

As she thought about the embarrassing things she did last night, she desperately wanted to dig a hole and bury herself right then and there.

She just realized that she had some feelings for Vermont, yet she did all those things in front of him.

She just could not accept it!

She clenched the bedsheet and softly asked, “Was there something wrong with the drink I had yesterday?”

Vermont nodded. “Someone spiked the drink. It was originally for Stella, but you took the fall for her.”

He was a little upset in his heart, but he said, “I’ll take you to the hospital for a checkup later.”

“Is Stella okay?” Felicity immediately asked.

Vermont scoffed. “She’s a lot smarter than you. She knows not to drink something offered by a stranger. But you, you downed it all! If it weren’t for me, you would’ve hooked up with any guy on the street!”

Felicity was speechless.

Her usually sharp-tongued nature was nowhere to be found.

It was not that she had suddenly changed her personality, but she simply felt too awkward.

Because she realized that she was not wearing anything under the blanket.

She did not even dare to ask Vermont if he had taken off her clothes last night.

Vermont softened her tone after seeing her silence, as he thought that she might still be overwhelmed by what had happened last night. “It’s just some shady stuff. You’ll be okay once it wears off. Y-You should get freshened up. I’ll wait for you outside.”

Vermont left the room, and Felicity immediately roughly ran her fingers through her long hair.

‘What exactly did I do last night?

‘I almost slept with him!’

Her face reddened, as she regretted her actions. Suddenly, she realized another problem. She figured that Vermont’s condition might really be incurable because he did not do anything to her last night despite her state…

She still could not get over the fact that she actually developed feelings for Vermont. Yet, she discovered something even more shocking today. The man that she had fallen for was a limp noodle.

She could not help but wonder to herself, ‘Is this what the fortune teller meant when she said that I’d have a major challenge when I’m twenty-five and a smooth life will follow if I can overcome it?

Otherwise, I’d have a life of hardship. Did she know that I’d fall in love with Stinky Cucumber?

‘Falling in love with someone that has erectile dysfunction is indeed a life of hardship. I can’t imagine what life is going to be.’

Felicity got changed and walked out of the room with her mind filled with thoughts.

Vermont had been waiting outside for quite some time. When he saw Felicity coming out, he said, “Let’s go. The car is here.”

He took her bag from her, grabbed her hand, and led her to the elevator.

Felicity lowered her gaze and glanced at their intertwined hands before shifting her gaze to her bag on Vermont’s shoulder. Then, she thought to herself, ‘Stinky Cucumber seems like a pretty decent and dependable guy other than the fact that he has a lot of exes.’ However, she had second thoughts right after. ‘Damn it. So what if he’s dependable? I can’t spend the rest of my life with him just because he’s dependable, right?

Besides, he has always treated his friends well. Although he might be impotent, it doesn’t necessarily mean that he’s into me.

Like he said, he wouldn’t have asked me to be his fake girlfriend if it wasn’t for the issues he’s having…’

Felicity’s mind was in turmoil.

Vermont faced the elevator doors, as he looked at the girl whose expression kept changing. Then, he suddenly said,” Miss Bandit, be my girlfriend.”

Felicity could not figure out what he was trying to say, as she frowned and asked, “Am I not your girlfriend right now?”

“Like for real,” Vermont said.

Felicity’s body stiffened, as she stuttered, “Y-You’re joking, right?”

“I’m not.” Vermont turned his head and lowered his gaze at her. “After spending these days with you, I found out that you’re an amazing girl. Not only can you cook and play video games, but you’re also incredibly loyal. I enjoy being around you very much, and I want to be more than just your friend. I want to hug you, kiss you, and take our relationship to the next level.”
