Chapter 151
Mr. Kane Got Blacklisted
âNot at all.â Stella clearly did not say what she meant, âWhyâd I be angry with you? Thatâd make me look so unappreciative. Mr. Kane, youâve overthought.â
Keegan frowned, âDonât call me Mr. Kane! Itâs annoying.â
When Stella called him âMr. Kane,â she sounded like she was insulting him. It made him extremely uncomfortable.
âHow should I address you then? Mr. Keegan? Keegan?â
Stella acted like she seriously pondered for a moment. She said, âWhy not you pick one?â
Keegan stared at Stella, who put on an act. He hated it very much. âHow did you address me back then?â
Stella stopped moving.
She always called him âhoneyâ back then.
Since Keegan did not disapprove of being called âhoney,â she had always called him that.
âWhen did I stop calling him that?
âI donât really remember it. Probably after I realized that Keegan wouldnât like me no matter how hard I tried.â
âItâs just a form of address. If you liked being addressed as Mr. Kane back then, Iâll continue to call you that in the future.â
Keegan glanced at her as he faintly said, âCall me that then.â
Stella was speechless.
âI intentionally provoked him. Why did he behave so unpredictably?â
Keegan raised his eyes when he noticed she did not talk after a long time. âWhy havenât you called me that?â
Stella pursed her lips.
âMr. Kane, I think itâs inappropriate for me to call you that, considering the relationship weâre in now.â
It seemed like Keegan was waiting for her to say that. He immediately said in her words, âItâs just a form of address. I like how you called me back then. Itâs not inappropriate.â
Stella was speechless.
âPiece of garbage!â
Of course, she was not willing to give in. She intentionally said sarcastically, âMr. Kane, youâre weird.
You were tired of me calling you that back then. But now, when weâre going to get a divorce, you keep wanting me to call you that. Forcing oneâs will upon another wonât get good results.â
Keegan faintly glanced at her, âIâm not sure Iâll get a good result. Why not you just call me that.â
She suddenly felt that she was being hit on. But Keegan looked very serious. She also felt that she might have overthought. Her ears were read as she petulantly said the word âlame.â
She then undid the belt and got off the car.
Keegan stared at her back for a few seconds before he slowly stepped out of the car.
The staff at the door gave Stella a rose when she walked in. Only the females had a unique token at this party tonight.
If a girl met a guy that she liked, she could give the rose to that guy. If the guy accepted it, it would mean he was interested in the girl too.
Likewise, if the guy was interested in a girl, he could directly ask her if she could give the rose to him. If she agreed, it would mean they were both interested in each other.
This was the first time Stella saw this form of group dating. She found it interesting.
She had a group dating when she was in school. But some of them had planned long ago. They confessed their love through the group dating event. It was fine if the two of them were interested in each other. But it would be moral blackmailing when the person being publicly confessed to did not like the other person.
The girls did not have initiative at all. Some men even surrounded the girls and judged them. She had only been to that kind of event once and never went to those parties again.
The bar was huge. After Stella walked around the bar, she only saw Vermont sitting in front of the bar counter, flirting with a girl who had a good figure.
âThis guy took a long time to spruce himself up in the car. He does look quite good.â
The girl looked like she was very interested in Vermont. She was sitting next to him and constantly chatted with him.
