Stella knew that Felicity was just trying to flirt with Dr. Steven after hearing what she said.

Felicity used to say that a wise person would never fall in love, yet her actions showed the complete opposite when she met a handsome man.

Dr. Steven handed her the prescription with a smile. “Palpation is the most common technique used in breast examination, and every doctor knows how to do this.”

“I’m sure you’re the best among all your colleagues then. Otherwise, why would so many patients come to specifically look for you?”

The doctor gazed downward and smiled without speaking.

“Dr. Steven, can I get your number? It’s my first time getting diagnosed with this, and I’m very scared.

Would it be okay for me to text you directly if there’s an emergency?”

Corbin paused for a moment before he said, “Sure.”

Then, they exchanged numbers. After that, Stella dragged her friend out of the clinic and left. “Dr.

Steven’s so handsome. His legs look so long even with the big white coat on. His frameless spectacles make him so just like a gentle… scum?”

Felicity saw Keegan standing in front of her before finishing her sentence, and she uttered the word ‘scum’.

She almost bit her tongue off after saying that. ‘I’m so stupid. How could I forget how vindictive this man is?’ So, she immediately put on a smile. “Mr. Kane, what a coincidence this is. Are you here to see Dr. Steven too?”

Aldor, Stella, and Keegan were all speechless.

Stella immediately sent Felicity away after noticing the change of expression on Keegan’s face. “Go get checked now. I’ll wait for you here.”

Felicity was more than happy to do that, so she slipped away while holding the prescription in her hands.

Keegan only spoke after Felicity left. “Did you come here to accompany her?”

Stella nodded.

“Did you get checked?”

“Why would I do that?” Stella glared at him strangely.

Keegan’s frown slowly went away after hearing that. He shifted his gaze to Aldor.

Aldor shrugged. ‘Well, I didn’t know Mrs. Kane’s best friend was here too.’

Stella looked at Keegan from head to toe. “Why are you here?”

Keegan replied with a straight face, “To see a doctor.”

“Oh, go ahead then.”

“I just did.”

“I see.” Then, Stella said, “You should go home now then. I still have to stay here with Felicity.

Keegan kept quiet.

‘Why is she chasing me away? Does she really hate me so much?’

Keegan glared at her and said, “I’ll wait for you. I didn’t drive today.”

Aldor was speechless.

‘Mr. Kane is getting better at lying.’

Stella’s mouth twitched. “Are you sure? Aldor is right here.”

Keegan said flatly, “Earth Day falls on this month, right? That’s why I’m commuting without emitting carbon monoxide.”

Stella kept quiet.

Indeed, there were a lot of advertisements encouraging people to reduce their carbon footprint, so Stella could not figure out if Keegan was speaking the truth or not. She paused for a while before she said, “Wait here then. I’ll check on Felicity.”

Keegan turned around and looked at Aldor angrily as soon as Stella left. “Face looking extremely pale?”

Aldor chuckled. “Mrs. Kane’s skin is just too fair. Perhaps I saw wrongly because I was too far away from her.” Then, he immediately tried to make up for his mistake.

“Mr. Kane, I’ll get some bottles of water. I’m sure Mrs. Kane is very hungry after doing so many things in the morning.”

Keegan looked away and said, “Okay.”

Aldor felt relieved and immediately ran off to get some water.
