Chapter 359
Mr. Kane Got Blacklisted
Sophia turned red and internally cursed Stella for being shameless.
Then, she said dully, âSince you two have urgent matters, go ahead. Drive safe.â
Stella did not want to look at her and walked right out of the elevator. Julian side-eyed the trolley as it passed him by. Then, he gently stuck out his foot.
SPLASH!
The trolley fell onto the ground, and the liquid from the broken boba tea drinks splashed onto Sophiaâs foot.
Sophia shrieked and hurled insults. She no longer had her cultured and polite demeanor.
When Keegan looked over, Sophia instantly realized she had lost her temper. Nevertheless, she endured the pain as she recomposed herself. Then, she reprimanded the staff members in a low voice, âHow can you be so careless?â
Stella glanced at Julian, who had an indifferent expression. She obviously saw Julian do it.
âThis punk. He really isnât afraid that others will check the security camera. Heâs barely encountered Sophia; what does he have against her?â she thought.
In case anybody realized what happened, Stella quickly led him away from the âcrime scene.â
Even though Julian had followed Stella home, he refused to speak. He was really stubborn and did not answer any of her questions.
Stella could only secretly contact Shelly to probe how Julian had recently been. As expected, Shelley did not know about Julian not going to school. She also kept telling Stella that Julian did really well in his previous exam and that his results would be alright if his performance remained stable for the college entrance exams this year.
Stella did not bring up the matter after hearing Shelleyâs words. Julian was in the guest room downstairs. After he kicked Stella out, he lay on the huge bed. However, he tossed and turned and could not fall asleep.
âWhat should I do when I go to school tomorrow?â he thought.
The more Julian thought about it, the more anxious he felt. Every time he felt anxious, he needed to use the washroom.
He got out of bed and opened the door. Then, he quietly stuck out his head and promptly saw Keegan still in the living room, so he closed the door.
After a while, he could no longer hold it in. He quietly looked outside through the door crack. However, Keegan was still there.
Julian repeated his actions a few times before Keegan finally said, âGo to the washroom if needed.
Donât dirty the room.â
Julian blushed. Then only did he go to the washroom boldly. When he returned, Keegan was still working. He had many documents beside him, most of them fully in a foreign language. However, Keegan read them effortlessly and quickly.
âIf you canât fall asleep, watch the TV here for a while,â he said.
Keegan spoke in an indifferent tone. However, it did not make Julian feel comfortable. He shook his head. Then he sat on the couch next to Keegan. He threw the remote control at him.
However, Julian did not switch on the television; he did not like watching the television.
âI thought Keegan would ask me some questions, but he doesnât seem to care about me. My presence next to him also doesnât affect his working speed. Iâve known Stella for years. I know she got married, but I had never seen her husband before. Todayâs the first time. Iâve grown much taller this year; Iâm nearly 5 feet 9 now. However, when standing before Keegan, I look like a child. Keegan has broad shoulders, narrow hips, and a tall physique. Heâs what I want to look like when I grow up,â he thought.
Julian moved his lips. After a while, he finally said, âDo you really have a black belt in Taekwondo, a tenth degree in Jiu-Jitsu, and a champion in kickboxing?â
Keegan was speechless.
