Stella was confused. ‘I’m sharp-tongued? I guess he hasn’t seen Keegan’s other side yet. If I were to get beaten because of how I say things, Keegan would definitely be dead based on how hurtful his words can be.’

“They wouldn’t bully you at school. Come on. Let’s go. We’re going to be late.”

Julian felt that Stella could not solve the issue, so he had to ask Keegan to go with him no matter what.

He even played rogue and said, “I don’t care. If Keegan doesn’t go, then I won’t. go either!”

Stella knew that Julian would not budge, even if she mentioned Shelley. So, she tentatively asked, “Can you come with us?” Before Keegan could reply, she continued, “If not, can your call Mr. Moore and ask him if he can accompany us? After all, he is a professional in the legal field.”

Keegan was speechless. He glanced at Stella and said, “I’m afraid you don’t have the money to pay Mr. Moore for his service.” Then, he said lightly, “I have an hour to spare. Let’s go.” Stella’s lips curved into a smirk as she thought, ‘Damn. This man sure is competitive.’

It was only after 7:00 a.m. when they arrived at the school. The students had just finished their morning read and started to wander around.

‘Julian seems quite popular, huh? So many students are gathering around him on his way to class, mostly girls. The kid had a pretty face and was good at his studies, so it was expected. I mean, he would definitely be popular in my school back in the day… So I guess it’s natural for girls to be attracted to him,’ Stella thought, completely forgetting that she and Keegan brought something to the table as well.

Julian was popular in the school, but the fact that he showed up at school with two well- dressed and good-looking people attracted the attention of his classmates. They looked like they were on a runway with the theme- ‘wealthy siblings.’

When a boy saw this scene, he immediately rushed into the classroom and said, “Raymond, Julian’s here! And brought people with him!”

Julian was a little cautious at first, but he gradually relaxed when he saw that Stella and Keegan’s expressions looked normal. He led them to the office building, turned around, and said, “The teacher is in there.”

Stella raised her chin and said, “Go on and knock.” Julian glanced at Keegan before knocking on the door. “Come in.” A voice sounded from the teacher’s office, and Julian pushed open the door.

Perhaps it was because the class was about to start. Quite a few teachers in the office were busy chatting, some were preparing lessons, and some were answering students’ questions.

Julian’s class teacher was at the innermost side of the office. He walked in front, leading Stella and Keegan to meet his teacher. Voices began to die down as he walked past them. When Julian was in front of the class teacher, he said, “Ms. Ada, my guardians are here.”

For a while, the office was silent. Julian was from an orphanage; all the teachers and students in his grade knew that the director of the orphanage was the one who attend the teacher- parent meeting before. However, now that the director was old, it was difficult for them to converse. So, Julian decided not to ask her to come.

‘Are these two the new help in the orphanage? But… they look rich,’ everyone looked at the two people as they secretly speculated.

Stella stretched her hand and said gently, “Hi, Ms. Ada. I am Julian’s guardian, Stella. This is my husband, Mr. Kane.”

When Ms. Ada heard that, she finally came to her senses, stood up, and shook their hands. ” It’s nice to meet you,” she said.

“Julian told us that he had a dispute with his classmates and hit them. So we’re here to discuss this matter.”

Ms. Ada got up immediately when she heard that. “Alright. Let’s go to the administration. office to have a chat. His classmate is returning to class today, I will contact his parents.”

“Sure.”

After they left, one of the teachers asked, “Mr. William, do you know the couple who just came in here?”
