Chapter 362
Mr. Kane Got Blacklisted
Mr. William rubbed his chin and shook his head, âI donât know them, but they seem familiar.â Someone in the office laughed, âMr. William, you are the most well-connected person among us. Yet, you donât know them?â
âThey look familiar, but I canât remember where Iâve seen them before.â
âHey, who do you think is gonna win, Julianâs guardians or Raymondâs parents?â
âIâm guessing Raymondâs parents. His father is a deputy director, and his mother has a sharp tongue.
Last time, Raymond fought with the chubby kid in Class 5, and his mother came to the office to fight the kid. It was terrible.â
âAnd the deputy director married her???â
âMaybe thatâs just his type.â
âThese two new people are well-dressed and well-mannered. They donât seem like they can fight Raymondâs mother. Julian is such a hot-tempered child. Raymond was just joking around. He should really learn to be patient.â
âYou werenât there, Mr. Walsh. Raymond is a rude ass kid. Everyone in the class knows that Julian is from an orphanage. Yet, he still mocks him daily for wearing old clothes and shoes. He kept asking why his mother gave birth to him but didnât want him. Who in the world could possibly sit there and listen to that? Sure, Raymond is pretty well off and loved, but his results are not better than any of them. Plus, he lacks decency and manners. I would rather be childless than give birth to such a kid.â
âItâs not like Raymond has never said those things to him before. Julian did not react badly back then;
why did he do it now?â
âI think a girl wrote a love letter to Julian and slid it into his book. When he flipped through the book, the love letter fell out. Raymond picked it up and read it in front of the whole class. He even read the girlâs name aloud, so Julian took the upper hand.â
âIf you asked me, Raymond deserved the beating.â
âMs. Ada is so pretentious. Ugh. They could have talked about the matter here so that all of us could tune in to the show. Why did they have to go to the administration office? We wonât be able to stop them there if they get into a fight.â
âJust say you like gossip. I bet youâll be the first to run if a fight occurs.â
The teachers roared with laughter when they heard that but secretly prayed for Julian. Raymondâs family was indeed powerful, and he bled from the last fight. His parents were unhappy with it. It was highly possible they would want Julianâs guardians to pay a considerable sum to settle the feud.
In the administration office, Ms. Ada poured two cups of coffee and pushed them in front of Stella and Keegan. âExcuse me, Mrs. Kane. You mentioned that you are Julianâs guardian. Are you from the orphanage?â
Ms. Ada was a young woman; she looked about thirty years old and spoke informally but respectfully, which made people feel comfortable around her. Stella took the cup and smiled, â Iâm not from the orphanage, but my mother funded that orphanage. The director and I are friends. We watched Julian grow. Iâm here today with my husband because Ms. Cooke entrusted us to solve this matter.â
Ms. Ada nodded. âActually, I had planned to take some time today to talk to the director about this matter. I didnât expect you to make the first move.â
âWhere is the kid who fought with Julian?â Stella asked.
âI have asked one of the students to bring him here.â
As soon as she finished speaking, the door revealed a tall, strong-looking boy. He had harsh facial features and a piece of gauze wrapped around his head.
âMs. Ada? Liam said you were looking for me.â
âHow many times have I told you to knock before you enter the office?â Ms. Ada seemed to be very troubled by this boy. She frowned and said, âCome in. Close the door.â
