Chapter 511
Too Late, Mr. Billionaire: You can’t afford me now
Chapter 511:
In a swift movement, Eric stooped, scooping her off the ground. âStand up. Weâre leaving!â
He hoisted her into his arms and strode towards the car.
The car door slammed with such force it seemed to echo through Hadleyâs chest. She bit her lip anxiously. âWhere are we going?â
Eric remained silent, avoiding her gaze.
He ignited the engine, floored the accelerator, and the car surged ahead rapidly.
Peering out the window, Hadley recognized the path they were taking.
They were on their way to the secluded Silver Villas.
He was speeding, yet the early snow-covered morning meant fewer cars on the road, allowing them to reach their destination swiftly. As they approached, the car turned into the driveway and sped towards the garage.
Eric hit the brakes hard, causing the tires to screech and sparks to fly from the friction with the ground.
Observing his darkening silhouette, a cold fear gripped Hadley. She quickly unfastened her seatbelt, opening her mouth to speak tentatively. âEric, umâ¦â
Before she could finish, he pushed her back against the seat.
Simultaneously, the seat clicked back into a reclined position, forcing Hadley to lie down. Next thing she knew, Eric loomed over her.
Her eyes widened in alarm. âWhat are you doing?â
âI canât wait any longer!â
Eric reached towards her throat. âYou said nothing happened between you and Denver last night? Alright, Iâll find out for myself right now!â

What? Hadley was shocked, instantly grasping the implications.
âStop, please!â
Hadley frantically shook her head, her hands pushing against his chest as she attempted to fend him off.
âI said no! This isnât what I want!â
âYou donât want?â
Consumed by jealousy, Eric seemed deaf to her protests.
âWhy not? Havenât we been intimate before? After reuniting with your ex, do you consider yourself too good for me now? Did something happen last night? Now youâre off-limits? Are you keeping yourself for him?â
Such absurdity!
Anger flushed Hadleyâs face pale, her body shaking with rage. In a swift motion, she struck him across the face.
âBastard! Eric, youâre a bastard!â
âIâm a bastard?â
His face twisted with fury, Ericâs anger intensified following the slap. He clenched his jaw.
âSo Iâm the bastard, huh? In your eyes, Iâll never stack up to Denver!â
âYes!â Hadleyâs voice was raw as she yelled, her eyes bloodshot with emotion.
âDenver is far superior to you! He embodies true gentility, integrity, and honor. Can you even begin to compare? Youâre unworthy!â
âYou!â
Ericâs hand shot up, his fist tight, hovering in the air, but he restrained himself from striking.
