Chapter 744
Too Late, Mr. Billionaire: You can’t afford me now
Chapter 744:
Elissa took a shaky breath, forcing herself to look him in the eye. âI saidâ¦â Her voice wavered, but she held firm. âLetâs get a divorceââ
Before she could finish, Robinâs hand snapped up, delivering a vicious slap that landed with a sharp, resounding crack!
Hadleyâs heart lurched. âWhat the hell are you doing? Get away from her, you animal!â
âAnd who the hell are you?â
His voice was a dangerous growl, his presence seething with menace. âMind your own damn business! Donât do something youâre going to regret!â
Thenâwithout warningâhe flung Hadley aside with a violent shove.
Robin then turned back to Elissa, his fingers twisting into her hair and yanking cruelly. âA divorce?â His voice dripped with fury. âWhat right do you have to ask me for a divorce?â
Robin seized Elissa by the hair and yanked her toward the door with brutal force.
âAhâ!â
A sharp cry tore from her throat, pain lacing every syllable.
âRobin! You bastard! You think Iâm the one betraying you?â Her voice was raw with fury. âWhat about you? Do you ever go a single day without sneaking around? Robin, Iâm done! I want a divorceâyou make my skin crawl!â
âWhat did you just say?â
Robin came to an abrupt halt. His grip on her loosened just slightly, his expression unreadable, a storm brewing behind his eyes.
Elissa panted, her tangled hair clinging to her damp face, smudged makeup streaking her cheeks. She was exhaustedâmentally and physicallyâbut she refused to cower.

âYou heard me,â she hissed, eyes burning with defiance. âYouâre vile, Robin. Absolutely repulsive! I canâtâAhâ!â
Her words were cut off by the sickening crack of Robinâs fist slamming into her face.
âRepulsive?â
Robinâs fury boiled over, his control shattered completely. His fists came down on her with unrelenting force, each blow harder than the last.
âYou dare call me repulsive? Say it again! I dare you, you cheating whore! Will you still say it now? Huh?!â
âRobin!â
Hadley burst into the room and lunged at him from behind, grabbing his arm. âStop! Stop it now!â
The commotion drew a crowdâcolleagues spilling out from the changing rooms, lounges, and practice halls. They stood frozen, whispering in hushed, horrified tones.
Hadleyâs voice cracked as she screamed, âSomeone call security! Heâs going to kill her!â
âOhâokay!â Someone broke from the crowd and ran toward the exit.
The heavy thud of approaching footsteps signaled the arrival of security.
âHey! What the hell do you think youâre doing?â one of the guards barked as he grabbed Robin, prying him away from Elissa.
âElissa!â Robin roared, trembling with rage. âYouâve ruined everything! Do you hear me? Youâve turned my whole life into a jokeâa goddamn joke! And now weâre both finished!â
