Chapter 778
Too Late, Mr. Billionaire: You can’t afford me now
Chapter 778:
The assistantâs hands shook as she fumbled for tissues, frantically wiping Lindaâs face.
Glaring at Megan, she snapped, âDo you have a death wish? Mr. Flynn wonât let this slide!â
âHah!â Megan crossed her arms and sneered, âMr. Flynn? Which one exactly? Linda, the only thing youâre good at is seducing men! Youâve got the Flynn brothers wrapped around your little finger! Climbing your way up on your back, youâre truly a disgrace to women!â
âMegan!â
Linda lost it. With a furious cry, she lunged, knocking Megan straight to the floor!
But Megan wasnât one to back down. She fought back immediately.
The two of them rolled, wrestling in a chaotic mess!
âStop fighting!â Tessie shouted, rushing forward. âQuick! Help break them up!â
Downstairs.
Eric arrived earlier than planned. Knowing Hadley was busy, he didnât call. Instead, he stepped out of his car and entered the building, hoping to surprise her and catch a glimpse of her at work.
What he didnât expect was to walk into a practice room full of chaos.
What was going on?
Women⦠fighting?
Upon looking more closely, it appeared to be primarily two women. Ericâs body suddenly froze as he realized Linda was the one pinned to the floor.

âLinda!â
Eric stormed forward.
With his sheer strength, he tore through the cluster of women like paper, scattering them until only Megan remained on top of Linda.
His grip closed around Meganâs arm, his expression dark, like a brewing storm. âLet go. Right now. Unless you want to see what happens when I stop being polite.â
Meganâs eyes flickered with surprise. âEric?â
She searched his face, hoping for a flicker of recognition, but his cold, unreadable features left her deflated. âYou⦠donât remember me?â she asked hesitantly.
âI donât care who you are,â Eric snapped.
Without so much as a glance in her direction, he reached for Linda, helping her up. The sight of her tangled hair and the fresh scratches marring her face sent fury surging through his veins.
His gaze snapped back to Megan, sharp as a dagger. âDid you do this?â
There was something lethal in the way he looked at her, a silent promise of retribution. Even Megan, who had never been easily rattled, felt her breath hitch. Ericâs lips pressed into a hard line, his eyes drilling into her like nails hammering into wood. âYouâre lucky youâre a woman. Otherwise, Iâd make sure you paid for every single mark on Lindaâtenfold.â
âThis isnât over.â
With that, he wrapped a steady arm around Linda and led her out of the practice room.
Hadley stood at the far corner, watching the manâs tall, commanding figure disappear. Her lips curled into a slow, almost imperceptible smirk.
