Maria thought that her things would get dusty if she just let them be, so she would use her spare key to enter Rhea’s room and clean it up from time to time.

She did not touch any of Rhea’s things and would not have the guts to throw them away.

Maria took a deep breath and said, this time calmer, "If the pen holder is so precious to you, tell me what it looks like.I'll get the maids to look for it.If we can’t find it, I'l have it custom-made for you, alright?"

Rhea threw Maria a sideways glance.

Just as Maria was about to retort, Rhea continued, "Who else came into my room recently? Who came over to our house?"

She replied after some thought, "No one special! I didn't invite any of my friends to come over for tea.It’s just your father, the maids, and no one..."

Maria paused, appearing to have remembered something.

"Oh, right.Anastasia came by once, but she didn’t enter your room.She just sat in the living room and left without even having a meal here."

"Her?" Rhea frowned.

"Why did she come here?"

"Nothing much. Tasia said she just wanted to visit me because I’ve been busy with her illness these days..."

Before Maria finished her words, she stopped abruptly and changed what she was about to say, afraid that Rhea would get angry if she heard them.

"Still, I didn’t do all that for nothing.

"I wasn’t next to her the whole time, but there’s no reason for her to take your pen holder.It’s not like she lacks anything.Plus, she’s not in school anymore.Why would she need a pen holder? It can’t possibly be her!"

With that, Rhea headed out the door with hurried steps.

Seeing that Rhea walked past her without saying anything, Maria chased after her.
