Cameron fervently nodded while Maria smiled from ear to ear.

"Hence, I didn’t think my brother-in-law’s daughter would harm my daughter.She’s so young, yet vicious."

Cameron directed his cold and stern gaze at Rhea.

If looks could kill, Rhea would be in pieces by now.

Both Fabian and Maria were stunned upon hearing that.

Only Rhea’s expression remained unchanged.

She merely moved her brows and said, "Uncle Cameron, what do you mean by that? Why don’t I understand you?"

She had an innocent look like she had no idea what Cameron was talking about.

Upon hearing that, Maria quickly added ina displeased tone, "Yeah! There must be some misunderstanding here! Cameron, how could you say that about Ree? "You said so yourself that she’s your niece.It’s too harsh of you to call her vicious! If Ree did anything wrong, I’d allow you to punish her for that, but I don’t like how you’re attacking her with such harsh words!"

"Why don’t you ask your baby daughter what she has done?"

Cameron lifted his chin toward Rhea as he wrapped his arm around Anastasia’s shoulder, patting her.

Seeing Cameron’s confidence made Maria slightly doubtful as she turned to look at Rhea.

"Ree..."

"I don’t know what I did that upset Uncle Cameron."

Rhea remained calm.

"Uncle Cameron, I guess you have a problem with me, and that’s why you’ re treating my parents so terribly.If I did anything wrong, I’d like to apologize to you.I hope you won’t target them anymore because of me."

Rhea’s words stunned her parents as they thought simultaneously, ‘Is that the case? Did he give us such ill-treatment because he doesn’t like Ree? If that’s true, he’s too heartless! We’ve been so nice to Tasia, to the point where Ree got jealous of her.What did Ree do that could infuriate him this much?’

"Cameron, let’s be upfront with each other.It’s pointless to beat around the bush," Fabian said, displeased.

"Sure.Then let me ask you this.How did Tasia’s body turn out like this? Someone said she had gotten poisoned for a long time, right? How did she get poisoned?"

Cameron went straight to the point.
