Dominic’s uproar startled Alexander.

Then he realized he had taken the older man lightly.He thought Dominic was angry at Lily for what she was doing.

It turned out that Dominic was only concerned about her safety.

After a momentary silence, Alexander sighed almost inaudibly and said, "It’s not like you don’t know how Lily is."

This one sentence almost shut Dominic up, but he was still dissatisfied.

"So, what? Aren't you like her? She is your wife! Shouldn’t you love and protect her? You weren’t here back then, but now that you are, how can you let her do such a dangerous thing? Don’t you know where she is? She’s entering the dragon’s pool and the tiger’s lair!"

‘That brat, Austin, almost lost his life there, and now his life is still on the line.Now, Lily wants to join the organization?! If I recall, she barely got out of that research institute.

Has she lost her mind?! Is Alex insane, or did they both go crazy?!’ Dominic immediately felt another rush of anger when he thought of this and threw Galen into Alexander's arms.

"I'd do anything to protect her, even sacrificing my entire family's wealth."

Dominic took a deep look at him and finally felt more at ease.He hummed and sat down again, holding the child.He gently stroked Galen's back, coaxing him habitually, while looking at Alexander.

"What's your plan?"

"I have arranged for people to watch over the area.Catching them is easier now that their dens are out in the open.However, I don’t know what cards they still hold, how many poisons they’ve developed, or if they’re already spreading it.Lily is there to learn about this so we can take them all down in one fell swoop."

The older man did not speak and stayed silent for a long time.

Then he sighed bitterly, saying, "What is wrong with this world?!"

He had no idea where this group of people came from.He had been inquiring about it secretly, but the forces behind this organization were surprisingly large or somewhat mysterious.
