Olivia looked up and shoved him aside. “I can do more than that, okay? Although I know little about what’s happening, I’ve also done my part.”

She approached Alexander and held up the bag she brought as she continued, “I’ve completed Lily’s experiment back at the studio and bottled up the final products. I also brought her notes on the experiment. I figured you might find them helpful.”

“Lily’s experiment?” Alexander was surprised yet puzzled as he took the bag. “It must be related to the perfumes, right? Anyway, thank you.”

In other words, he did not find them helpful, although he was grateful for her gesture.

Although Lily had roughly told Olivia about Professor Thompson’s belief and what had happened, Olivia only came to such a conclusion after reading the notes. She later continued Lily’s experiment and took a long time to fine-tune the results.

Since the results turned out to be just as Lily had wanted, Olivia brought the creations over, wanting to give them to Alexander. However, she did not expect Edward to be here and even learn about what had happened to him.

“There’s this, too,” Olivia said as she took her phone and opened her email. She entered the password and encryption key, then retrieved some emails from it.

“Some big shot sent these to Lily, wanting her to create custom perfumes. Lily was busy then and turned the offer down, but the person kept insisting.”

Olivia did not know what happened next since Lily took over and dealt with that person. After not receiving any news from Lily and Edward, Olivia became so restless that she went through the emails and discovered some that Lily had not read.

“These emails came from Yudonia!” Alexander said solemnly.

Olivia nodded. “That’s right, and the person is from the royal family. I found the content of the last few emails highly unusual, so I thought I should show them to you. By the way, is Lily still safe and sound?”

she asked solicitously.
