Spoiled by Mr. Russell
Spoiled by mr. russell chapter 2132-The queen looked at her guards entering the room as Fred said, âHer Majesty is tired and unwell. Take her to the room, and donât let anyone disturb her rest.â
The queen was astounded. She said sternly, âHow dare you?! Nobody touches me!â
However, Fred waved, saying, âHer Majesty is old and suffering from hallucinations. Donât mind what she says. We must prioritize her health.â
Then he gestured for the guards to bring the queen to her room.
âYouâve gone insane, Fred! How dare you treat me like this? Iâm the queen! Fred!â She shouted desperately. No one had ever treated her like this before.
After receiving no answers from Fred, she turned to the guards and demanded, âStop! Are you helping him rebel against me?!â
âItâs not exactly a rebellion.â Fred gazed after the queen as the guards took her away. He finally smiled.
âHowever, youâre too old and unfit to run the country, Your Majesty!â
He dropped his fearful pretense and looked arrogant instead.
â¦
The guards opened the door and wheeled the queen into her bedroom. When they stopped, the guard let go of the wheelchair and turned to leave with the others.
âAre you rebelling against me?â the queen asked.
The guards stopped momentarily and then left without answering. When they closed the door, the queen felt like a bird in a cage. Immediately after, she took a glass from the table and hurled it at the door.
The glass shattered as it hit the door, just like her trust in Fred. She never doubted him because she believed he was her loyal right-hand man. However, that trust had shattered today.
âHow does it feel to be betrayed by someone you trusted most?â The woman behind the desk lowered the book she was reading, revealing her thin yet beautiful face.
The still-angered queen looked toward the woman and answered mockingly, âEverything happened as you predicted. You must be pleased with yourself, arenât you?â
However, Lily said smilingly, âWhat do I have to feel pleased about? Iâll die soon. Besides, youâre in a terrible situation like me now. Thereâs nothing to be happy about, is there?â
