Alexander drove to Dominic’s place that night.

Alexander felt bad knowing Galen must have missed him and Lily.

“T heard the twins have returned, huh?” Dominic asked after sipping his wine.

“Yes, they have!” He was not surprised that Dominic knew because he knew Austin must have told him.

“That’s excellent news!” Dominic nodded, “I’m sure Lily will be next.” “I've failed her.” Alexander finished his tea in one gulp.

He could not drink alcohol to drown his sorrow since he drove here alone.

Dominic said without trying to console him, “Yes, you have.

As her husband, you should ensure her safety.

Even if she’s strong enough to look after herself, there’s no point in marrying you if you can’t care for her, right?” “You’re right.” Alexander lowered his head, agreeing with the older man.

Dominic lifted his glass and said, “I’m not trying to tell you off but to state a fact.

Also, invisibility is total bullshit.
