Chapter 2215
Spoiled by Mr. Russell
Spoiled by mr. russell chapter 2215-Rhea took a moment before snorting. âThatâs nonsense!â
Lilyâs words had struck a chord with her, but Rhea couldnât show it. The latter remembered how her parents had neglected her during her childhood.
Rhea had tried to attract her parentsâ attention but could not shake the feeling that they cared about Anastasia more. To Rhea, kinship was nothing compared to power and money.
âCut the crap! There are no good parents in the world! All they care about is self-interest,â Rhea said coldly, âIf you could exchange your childrenâs lives for a chance to live, wouldnât you do it?â
She believed everyone would.
âOf course not!â Lily answered readily. âWould you? Would your parents?â
She got to Rheaâs nerve, and the latter shouted, âWhat do you care?!â
âWell, my decision is also none of your business, right?â Lily asked steadily with a faint smile.
Rhea was stumped.
âFine, I wonât waste my time arguing with you. Unlike you, I still have many important experiments and wonderful things to create. Too bad youâll no longer have the chance to see them,â Rhea said, envisioning her bright future.
Lily shook her head. âHow do you know I no longer have the chance while you do?â
âStop speaking in riddles!â Rhea narrowed her eyes. âDo you even realize whatâll happen to you?â
âSave your concern for yourself, okay?â Lily shook her head, having nothing more to say to Rhea. As she turned away, she thought about something and looked over her shoulder at Rhea. âSo you willingly walked into the trap?â
Rhea nodded, then caught herself and quickly shook her head. âWhat are you talking about? I wanted to rejoin the organization, okay?â
âI honestly donât get it. Why would anyone want to become someone elseâs lapdog?â Lily said casually with a raised brow.
âYouââ Upset, Rhea stopped herself and took a deep breath. âBeing the lapdog of someone with power is better than being a nobody. Do you think youâre better than me? No matter how influential your husband is, he still couldnât save you, could he?â
Rhea tilted her head and sized up the room. âWhy donât you beg me to fulfill your last wishes? Perhaps I might help you when I feel like it?â
However, Lily had closed her eyes to rest and ignored her.
With no one to quarrel with, Rhea soon felt bored. She was also curious why they had brought her here.
After looking around, she found nothing unusual and guessed there were surveillance or listening devices. However, she couldnât figure out why Fred wanted her there.
