“I’m not lying. Fred killed your son,” Rhea sighed and said, “I didn’t tell you about it because I was worried that it would be too huge a blow to you.

However, since you insisted on knowing, I guess you would find out sooner or later. Just know that I won’t be able to help you because he’s dead.”

“No, that’s not possible! Why would he kill a child? Fred could have just given Nicky back to me if he was no longer useful to him. They promised me.”

Overwhelmed by the news, Mike kept muttering in a daze that it was impossible.

Rhea hadn’t told him before this because she knew this would happen.

However, now that Nick was going to die sooner or later, she thought she might as well tell him.

Rhea said, “Fred told me he killed your son, all right? Get over it. I know you’re sad, but you can always have another child, can’t you?” She didn’t think losing a son was a big deal at all.

“So you’ve never seen him dead with your own eyes, right?” Mike continued.
