“But you’re taking too much of a risk!” Mike shook his head with a frown. “If anyone has to die, it should be me, no one else!”

He could die for his son, but there was no reason for others to sacrifice their lives.

Lily sighed and said, “I know what I’m doing. Besides, do you think I’ll be safe if I don’t go back? Will Queen Yasmin spare me? I’ll never be safe unless she gives up on the experiment.”

“She’s right,” Dominic said, “When the old gal does, we don’t have to rescue your son because she’ll no longer have a use for him.”
