It was Lily’s first time making Alexander angry, and he continued to fume the entire night and said no words to her.

Although he did not lash out at her nor did anything to show his anger, she could feel that he was upset.

‘Is he mad because he thinks I’m jealous or because I'm not?’ Lily had little experience in relationships.

When she was still dating Nathaniel, she had never once felt jealous.

After all, Lily focused on working for their future and regarded Melanie as their mutual friend.She never thought that anything would happen between Nathaniel and Melanie.

When she found out about Nathaniel’s affair, she felt betrayed, used, and lied to.It made her mad and upset.

In retrospect, she was angrier than she was upset.

As for jealousy, she felt none of that.She wondered if Alexander wanted her to be jealous or the other way around.

However, he said nothing was happening between him and Brittany, so Lily felt no reason to be jealous.

"Lilsy, have you gone back already?"

"Not yet.My flight’s tomorrow."

Lily had just finished washing up.

When she got out of the bathroom, she saw that Alexander was asleep.

Hence, she put on her clothes and went to the living room to answer the call.

"That's great! Do you have time for a meal with me today?"

Then, Lisa continued apologetically, "You got kidnapped because of me, and I’ve been feeling guilty.I wanted to apologize to you, but I haven’t had the chance to do so.You have to give me a chance to do this."

Lily comforted her, "It had nothing to do with you.The kidnappers pretended to be your subordinates, and you had no hand in it.Don’t feel guilty, all right? As for a meal..."

Subconsciously, she looked in the direction of the room, wondering if Alexander had any plans for them.

"You have to eat with me! If you’re not free for lunch, we can have dinner.I’ll be waiting!"

Lisa said and added when she remembered something, "Oh right! Mr.Corden will be coming too!"

The person that came into Lily’s mind was the man who sold the Marseille soap.She was surprised that Lisa knew him too.

Lisa was stunned by her question.

"What do you mean? We met him together at the hospital, so, of course, I know him! Also, if we are clear, you knew him through me.You saved his son, and now he wants to thank you, so you have to come today."

Upon hearing that, Lily finally remembered the man she had met at the hospital.

As they had only met once, Lily had forgotten his name.
